More DetailsThe 37.95m motor yacht Kia Ora was delivered to her owners in 2020 by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. Her exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Francesco Paszkowski Design, while Sanlorenzo is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8m beam and a 2.33m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 314 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2018. This was the twentieth yacht built on the SD126 design. Launched in February 2020 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in May 2020.
Accommodation
Kia Ora offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M72) 1,469hp engines, motor yacht Kia Ora is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 34,200 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles at 11 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
