Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 6.5m beam and a 1.8m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 145 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the Evadne 26 design.
Exterior Design
Andart is based on the Evadne 26 platform, a 25m (82ft) explorer-style yacht designed by Vripack to combine the volume and capability of a larger vessel within a more manageable size. Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the yacht carries a bold, angular profile that leans into compact explorer styling while still keeping a sleek, modern stance on the water.
The near-vertical plumb bow gives the yacht a strong forward presence and also helps maximise internal volume. Vripack shaped the superstructure to create what it calls a “three-deck illusion”, so despite the yacht’s substantial internal capacity, the silhouette still feels low and streamlined rather than bulky. Angular lines run throughout the profile, while the reverse-sloping wheelhouse windscreen adds a purposeful expedition-style look.
Large full-height glazing sections wrap around the superstructure and main deck, bringing extensive natural light into the interior as well as broad outward views. Toward the stern, the cut-away bulwarks lower the visual mass of the yacht and bring guests closer to the water from the aft deck areas.
Outdoor living forms a major part of the Evadne 26 layout. The expansive flybridge combines lounge seating, a dining area and bar, while the 55sqm (592sqft) solarium terrace creates a substantial upper-deck social space complete with a jacuzzi. The aft deck offers another generous lounging and entertaining zone, while the bow incorporates additional seating and relaxation areas.
The yacht’s 1.8m (5.9ft) draft also allows access to shallower cruising grounds and tighter anchorages that may prove difficult for larger explorer yachts, so the platform suits island cruising particularly well. Space remains available for tenders and jet skis too, supported by a 500kg upper-deck crane for launch operations.
Interior Design
Vripack designed the interior around openness, practicality and natural light rather than heavy decorative styling. Extensive glazing pulls daylight deep into the saloon and dining spaces, so the interior maintains a bright atmosphere throughout the day while strengthening the connection to the surrounding sea.
The main saloon combines lounge seating with an indoor dining area as well as a dedicated karaoke entertainment zone, giving the yacht a more relaxed and social character suited to extended owner use and informal entertaining. Contemporary finishes and clean-lined furniture keep the mood modern without becoming overly minimal or cold.
Technology and onboard systems also play a large role in daily comfort onboard. WiFi, integrated speaker systems and tropical air conditioning support long stays in warmer climates, while the 44kW Mastervolt lithium-ion battery system and 2,000W solar panel array allow key onboard systems to operate quietly for up to 12 hours without generators running.
Accommodation
Andart accommodates up to eight guests across four cabins, comprising a master cabin, two VIP cabins and one twin cabin. The layout balances private owner use with flexibility for guests, family cruising and charter operation.
The owner’s cabin includes a private balcony arrangement, adding direct access to the outside and strengthening the connection to the water. Large windows continue the bright atmosphere established throughout the yacht, while the styling remains clean, modern and practical.
The two VIP cabins provide strong accommodation for couples, while the twin cabin adds flexibility for children or mixed guest groups. Crew accommodation for four allows guest and operational areas to remain properly separated.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-12.9) 1,000hp engines, motor yacht Andart is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 12,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at an economic speed of 9 knots.
