Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.53m beam and a 1.7m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 422 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the second yacht built on the Leopard 46 design. She was delivered to her owners in December 2009.

Exterior Design

Bet On It is a 46.2m Leopard motor yacht designed by Andrea Bacigalupo, and the profile in this image makes the intent clear. This is a low, fast planing hull with long, clean lines and very little visual interruption.

The bow is fine and extended, with a shallow foredeck that runs clean into the superstructure. There is no raised bulk forward, which keeps the profile flat and aerodynamic. Stainless guardrails sit low, and the anchor gear is recessed, so nothing breaks the line.

Along the hull, a sequence of oval portholes runs low and evenly spaced, while above them a sharp, dark glazing strip cuts aft through the topsides. This band ties into the superstructure windows and gives the yacht a continuous, flowing line from bow to stern.

The superstructure itself is compact and swept back. The windscreen is heavily raked, almost automotive in feel, and blends into a low roofline that stretches aft toward the open deck areas. Air intakes are integrated into the aft quarters, finished in black to match the glazing and reduce visual bulk.

Aft, the yacht opens into a wide cockpit with direct access to the water, while above, the flybridge sits low and extended, maintaining the same forward-leaning stance seen throughout the design. Radar domes and antennas are grouped tightly to avoid adding height.

From this angle under way, the hull shows a clean wake pattern and a slightly raised running attitude, which matches the yacht’s planing performance profile.

Accommodation

Bet On It accommodates up to 12 guests in 5 cabins, with crew for 9.

The main deck master suite is positioned forward and spans the full beam. It has private access from the main deck, separating it from guest areas below.

On the lower deck, there are:

  • 2 double cabins
  • 2 twin cabins, each with Pullman berths

All guest cabins are en suite and follow the same neutral design approach as the main living areas.

The cinema room can convert into a sixth cabin, typically used for children or a nanny, which adds flexibility depending on use.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by 3 x diesel MTU (16V 2000 M93) 16-cylinder 2,450hp engines running at 2450rpm, motor yacht Bet On It is capable of reaching a top speed of 33 knots, and comfortably cruises at 25 knots. With her 30,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 500 nautical miles at 25 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.

Amenities

Full cinema facilities ensure five-star entertainment and a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Bet On It also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
