Encore is a 34.1m open yacht delivered by Leopard in 2008. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Andrea Bacigalupo.

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.35m beam and a 1.22m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 178 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the eleventh yacht built on the Leopard 34 design.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Encore reflects a straightforward and functional approach while maintaining a sleek and modern aesthetic. This 112-foot yacht is characterized by its express style, enabling efficient navigation even in shallow waters. This is largely due to the Rolls-Royce water jets that drive the vessel, allowing it to maneuver in less than four feet of water.

Encore features a sizable sunbathing area at the bow, providing ample space for relaxation. The stern is equipped with an outdoor dining area and additional sunbathing space, facilitating both leisure and social activities. From the Sun Bridge, the yacht offers a rear-facing sun lounge and a covered dining area that can comfortably seat eight guests. An electric sunshade extends over the aft sun pad for added comfort.

The aft swim platform enhances the yacht's connection to the sea and includes a toy garage stocked with Seabobs, a jet ski, and a full dive setup.

Interior Design

Encore's interior design reflects a blend of functionality and style. The materials used throughout the yacht include high-quality woodwork and carpentry, which Leopard is well-known for. The natural lighting is a prominent feature, with skylights and large windows on both port and starboard sides allowing ample sunlight to fill the spaces.

The galley is designed with practicality in mind. It features oversized, chef-grade appliances suitable for both family meals and entertaining larger groups. The full-service bar in the salon includes an Onyx countertop, refrigeration, ice makers, a sink, and ample storage.

The helm is equipped with a computer system that operates the entire yacht. This includes control over bilges, tanks, fresh water, and seamless power transfers. The helm's design prioritizes operational efficiency and safety, with all electronics housed in a dedicated control room, known as the doghouse.

The salon offers a U-shaped settee and a large couch lounging area, serviced by two fold-up TVs. The stylistic windows allow for plenty of natural light, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The space is designed for both relaxation and entertainment, with the full-service bar adding to the convenience.

Accommodation

Encore  offers comfortable accommodations for up to 10 guests. The yacht features a well-designed layout with ample space and luxurious fittings throughout its staterooms.

Located aft, the full-beam owner's suite is divided into two distinct areas: a sleeping/living area and a wardrobe/storage area. The suite includes large windows that provide excellent natural light and views, enhancing the space's comfort and ambiance. The ensuite head features a marble vanity, a full standing shower, and premium finishes throughout.

The forward VIP full-beam stateroom includes large windows, full standing closets, and ample drawer space. The ensuite head is split into two sections, featuring a large shower and a separate area for the bidet and toilet. The starboard queen cabin includes a queen bed, a full standing closet, and storage beneath the bed. The ensuite head is well-appointed and convenient. - Port Twin Cabin: This cabin features twin beds with storage underneath and a pullman berth that adds an extra sleeping option. The cabin also has an ensuite head.

While primarily designed as an entertainment space, the theatre room can be converted into a fifth stateroom, increasing the sleeping capacity to 12 guests. It includes an ensuite head with a separate shower.

The crew quarters are designed for comfort and efficiency, featuring two cabins that are well-finished and include standing showers with teak floors. The crew mess is adjacent to the full galley and offers additional bulk storage, ensuring that the crew can operate smoothly over longer trips. A dedicated laundry station with three Miele double units guarantees that all guests and crew have fresh outfits daily.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M93) 16-cylinder 2,400hp engines, motor yacht Encore is capable of reaching a top speed of 40 knots, and comfortably cruises at 36 knots. With her 16,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 400 nautical miles at 35 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.

Amenities

A sumptuous cinema suite allows for movie nights at sea and a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads.
