Design & Construction
Designed around a composite hull and superstructure she features a 8.38m beam and a 6m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 171 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Cervo features a plumb bow, contributing to its modern and efficient profile. The deck is constructed with teak, providing durability and a classic nautical appearance. The hull is painted in a striking blue, complemented by a white superstructure, creating a straightforward yet sophisticated contrast. The boot top is also white, which adds a clean line between the hull and the water. Below the waterline, the yacht is finished in black, ensuring a sleek and streamlined look.
Cervo is equipped with various seating options, prominently featuring mirroring fitted sofas that surround extendable tables, suitable for alfresco dining. Adjacent to these dining areas, you will find sun loungers that provide an ideal spot to take in the panoramic views. The layout ensures that guests have ample space to relax and enjoy their surroundings while on deck.
Interior Design
The interior design of Cervo focuses on a light, contemporary aesthetic, prioritizing functionality and modern materials. The yacht's interior is fabricated by Ruiter Quality Interiors, utilizing open-grain oak from the German timber specialist Schotten & Hansen for floors and walls. This oak features a brushed, whitewashed finish achieved through a complex process involving the differential contraction of grain sections during drying. The open grain is colored with natural pigments and stabilized with resins and waxes.
The deck saloon features a wide sliding door leading to a chic space with 360-degree panoramic views. Two large skylights and a pair of hatches provide visibility of the mainsail and sky. The upper saloon, separated from the lower saloon by a half-height glass wall, houses a deep charcoal L-shaped sofa to port and a large television, creating a snug atmosphere. The starboard side, previously an owner's office, has been simplified, with an enlarged portlight for a bigger sea view. The removal of a wall between the office and the upper saloon replaces the former dark, clubby feel with an open, unbroken space.
The galley and meal service areas are designed for efficiency, with all china and glassware stored in large drawers under the upper saloon, easily accessible from the lower level. The galley features epoxy-based countertops, designed to mimic the look of granite without the weight, aligning with the yacht’s lightweight design ethos. The material is built up in layers by hand and given color and texture with a special kind of sand.
Accommodation
Cervo can host a total of eight guests across four well-appointed cabins. The master cabin is situated in the bow, providing a sense of privacy and separation from the main saloon. This cabin has been expanded to include a comfortable sofa and a second sink in the en suite bathroom, enhancing the overall convenience and livability for the owners. The thoughtful rearrangement of hanging lockers and the reorganization of space from the adjacent cabin's en suite allowed for this enlargement.
Each of the remaining three guest cabins maintains a high standard of comfort, ensuring that all guests have a pleasant stay. The bathrooms in these cabins have been given a modern update with lightweight epoxy surfaces that mimic the look of granite, in keeping with the yacht's emphasis on performance and reduced weight.
She is also capable of carrying up to six crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
