Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.2m beam and a 3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 900 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2022. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in February 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2026.

Exterior Design

The 57m (186ft) Legacy 4 was built by Codecasa as Hull F81 in the Italian yard’s Codecasa 57 series. The yacht carries many of the defining traits associated with modern Codecasa design, including a sharply flared bow, long sweeping foredeck and layered aft deck arrangement shaped around long-distance cruising.

The profile has a clean and controlled appearance, with long dark glazing bands cutting through the white hull and superstructure to visually reduce the yacht’s considerable volume. A thin red bootstripe along the waterline and matching accents on the radar domes introduce subtle contrast without disrupting the otherwise restrained exterior palette.

Forward, the bow rises aggressively from the waterline and transitions into an extended foredeck that emphasises the yacht’s length. The glazing around the bridge deck and upper decks remains heavily recessed beneath projecting overhangs, which gives the superstructure a more sculpted appearance while also creating shade across exterior walkways.

The aft decks descend in stepped layers toward the water, creating a cascading profile with multiple exterior terraces distributed across the yacht’s height. Long side decks and uninterrupted guardrails reinforce the yacht’s classic long-range cruising character rather than a sport-focused look.

The upper sections of the yacht remain relatively low and balanced despite the substantial overall volume, helped by dark glazing sections and horizontal detailing that visually stretch the profile. The mast structure and radar arrangement stay compact and integrated rather than oversized, which helps preserve the yacht’s streamlined silhouette.

Accommodation

Legacy 4 accommodates up to 12 guests across six suites.

The owner’s suite occupies the main deck and benefits from a more private position separated from the guest accommodation areas below. Five additional guest cabins are located on the lower deck.

Crew accommodation includes six double cabins for up to 12 crew members, while the captain’s cabin sits adjacent to the wheelhouse in keeping with more traditional superyacht arrangements.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512E) 2,375hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Legacy 4 is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 140,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
