Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.53m beam and a 2.26m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 231 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Cupcake carries a classic raised pilothouse profile with a white hull and superstructure, softened by long, dark glazing bands that run along both decks. The bow is sharply raked, with an open feel around the gunwales, while a line of oval portholes breaks up the hull sides and adds depth to the profile.
The foredeck is kept largely clear for operations and toy handling, so the social areas sit further aft and higher up. On the main deck aft, a curved staircase drops down to the swim platform, framing a shaded seating area above that connects directly to the salon through large glass doors.
Up on the upper deck, the aft section is set up for open-air use, with dining and lounge space leading back toward the boat deck where the tender and crane are stored. The mast structure sits further aft than usual and doubles as a canopy, creating a shaded section on the sundeck.
That sundeck is the main outdoor hub. A circular Jacuzzi sits within a wraparound seating layout, with a curved bar alongside it. Forward, semi-circular seating and tables face out toward the horizon, so the space works for both lounging and casual dining.
The swim platform spans the beam and sits low to the water, with clean access via twin curved staircases. Mooring gear is tucked out of sight behind the coamings, which keeps the aft end uncluttered.
Interior Design
The interior follows a clear theme, built around turquoise accents, pale finishes, and reflective surfaces. The main salon uses cream, soft grey, and silver tones, with velvet textures and gloss finishes adding contrast. Large side windows bring in steady light, which keeps the space open despite the layered detailing.
Seating is arranged in a broad, low layout, while the dining area sits forward, defined by a glass table and ten black leather chairs. Two turquoise columns separate the spaces without closing them off. Overhead, a mirrored ceiling detail with a circular pattern reflects light back into the room.
A spiral staircase links all decks and becomes a central feature in the layout. Up on the bridge deck, the skylounge shifts to a more relaxed setting, with a large U-shaped sofa, bar seating, and a games table. Mirrored ceiling panels and wide glazing keep the space bright.
Across the yacht, materials lean toward lacquered cabinetry, metal accents, and decorative glasswork. In the master bathroom, marine-themed glass panels wrap around the shower, with a black marble tub set into mirrored surrounds.
Accommodation
Cupcake accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, with a main deck owner’s suite and four guest cabins below.
The owner’s suite spans the beam and includes a king-size bed, desk, and lounge seating, along with his-and-hers bathrooms connected by a shared shower. Large windows bring in natural light, which is less common on older raised pilothouse layouts.
On the lower deck, three double cabins and one twin complete the layout, all with en suite bathrooms finished in marble with full tubs and showers.
Crew accommodation supports a team of up to seven, with separate access and service areas to keep guest spaces private.
A full gym is also located on the lower deck, fitted with cardio equipment and free weights, along with its own bathroom.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V396 TE94) 2,285hp engines, motor yacht Cupcake is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 27,255 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,300 nautical miles at 16 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Cupcake also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
