Due to be delivered in 2026, Horizon II is a 60.5m expedition yacht for sale built by Dutch shipyard Leapher Yachts. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Cor D. Rover Design, while Van Oossanen Naval Architects is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and a steel / aluminium superstructure she features a 12.8m beam and a 3.8m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,753 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2023 with the keel laid under the project name 'Lazarus'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in February 2026 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Leapher Yachts' Leapher Shipbuilding BV yard in Netherlands where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.

Accommodation

Horizon II offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 17 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by 4 x electric Scania (Sever Electric Motors) 939hp engines, motor yacht Horizon II is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 170,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 9,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots.
