Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.04m beam and a 2.51m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the 40MXP design. Launched in July 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
Miouch is hull #1 of the 40MXP and is a thoughtful evolution of the brand’s 40-metre platform, blending the rugged practicality of an explorer yacht with the sculptural confidence of a modern superyacht. At 40m (131.2ft) in length and carrying an 8m (26.2ft) beam, Miouch delivers a striking profile anchored by a near-vertical bow with a gentle rake.
Miouch wears a metallic champagne finish above the waterline, which plays with sunlight across the hull’s sharp contours and hard chines. That warm tone is paired with a white superstructure and contrasting black boot top, while the underwater sections are also painted white for consistency and practical anti-fouling performance. The result is a yacht that feels cohesive and deliberately composed, from the tip of the bow to the trailing edge of the stern.
Decks are laid in teak, delivering a classic, hard-wearing surface for open-air living. But the defining feature of the 40MXP’s exterior is the aft deck. Lengthened by pushing the saloon’s sliding doors 3m (10ft) forward, this space becomes a centrepiece for alfresco life. It’s laid out with a large dining area, a bar and a wraparound lounge that frames the aft glass-sided plunge pool. From here, guests step down onto the vast hydraulic swim platform, which spans the full beam and can be shaded either with an awning or through extended overhangs from the deck above. The setup is equally suited to relaxed waterside lounging or boarding tenders in more exposed conditions.
Above, the yacht’s stepped superstructure gives each deck a clearly defined character. The angular rhythm of the faceted bulwarks, deep black glazing and geometric hull windows creates a visual continuity with other Numarine XP models, while also asserting a more beach-club-ready identity. The sundeck and upper deck (also featuring a jacuzzi) are framed with slender overhangs that keep the profile light, despite the yacht’s bold form. Visual clutter is minimised across the structure, and the low-profile radar mast helps preserve the clean, architectural silhouette.
Interior Design
Step inside Miouch, and the balance of volume and clarity continues. The interior has been shaped by designer Can Yalman, whose longstanding collaboration with Numarine shows in the confident use of space, light and clean detailing. The result is an environment that feels both practical and calming, with a layout geared toward extended cruising and effortless movement between inside and out.
The saloon connects directly to the enlarged aft terrace, with sliding glass doors enabling seamless flow between the open-air lounge and the main deck interior. Inside, the furnishings are tailored to maximise floor space and sightlines, with broad windows flooding the saloon with natural light. Materials are chosen for comfort and resilience, supporting the yacht’s long-range capability without compromising on luxury.
Further forward, the galley and helm station are cleanly integrated into the deck plan. The galley is positioned for easy crew access and service, supporting both private use and charter. The wheelhouse offers excellent visibility, an uncluttered layout and practical access to external decks for the crew, making it a proper working space for extended passages.
Accommodation
Accommodation aboard Miouch is configured for up to 12 guests across six suites, designed to support a variety of cruising styles. The owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck and spans the full beam, delivering generous volume and privacy along with expansive glazing and a peaceful, elevated position. Below deck, the VIP suite mirrors this full-beam footprint, providing a near-equal level of comfort that works well for dual-party ownership or primary charter guests.
The remaining guest cabins are arranged across the lower deck, with a mix of doubles and twins.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (D2868 LE425) 800hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Miouch is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 51,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 8 knots.
