View Listing

Delivered in 2005, Northstar I is a 31.5m motor yacht for sale built by Italian shipyard Falcon Yachts. Her exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Stefano Righini, while Falcon Yachts is responsible for her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • 31.5m (102ft) Falcon 102 yacht
  • Main deck cinema lounge
  • Raised pilothouse design
  • Big enclosed flybridge

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.5m beam and a 2.2m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 161 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The 31.5m (102ft) Falcon 102 Northstar I presents a classic raised pilothouse profile, reinforcing that Italian lineage with a low, flowing superstructure set over a dark blue hull. The contrast between hull and superstructure sharpens the lines, while the long run of oval portlights adds rhythm along the waterline.

The bow is extended and slightly flared, with a clean foredeck that keeps anchoring gear out of the way and leaves usable space forward. A recessed sunpad area sits just ahead of the windscreen, so it stays protected while still open to the view. High guardrails and full walkaround decks run aft, which keeps movement simple and safe.

Amidships, the glazing forms a continuous band, and the upper deck overhang stretches aft to create shade over the cockpit. This aft deck works as the main outdoor dining space, with direct access into the saloon and stairs leading up to the flybridge.

The flybridge is wide and open, with a hardtop structure and full enclosure capability. Seating, dining, and sunpad areas spread across the deck, while a secondary helm sits forward. Aft, the tender is carried on deck and handled by crane, which keeps the swim platform clear.

At water level, the swim platform forms the main access point, and twin staircases lead back up to the cockpit. The overall layout keeps each deck clearly defined, so social spaces do not overlap.

Interior Design

Inside, Northstar I follows Falcon’s high-gloss wood finish, with polished joinery and warm tones that give the yacht a traditional feel. Large side windows bring in light across the main saloon, and the layout uses opposing sofas to create a balanced seating area.

The saloon flows forward into a dining space, so the main deck works as a single entertaining area. A wall-mounted television and integrated audio system support day-to-day use, and the finish remains consistent across the space, which keeps the interior calm and easy to read.

Forward on the main deck, the cinema lounge adds a second living area. It centres on a media setup with a large screen and relaxed seating, and a pullman berth is built in below, so the space can shift between lounge and guest use.

Above, the raised pilothouse includes a full helm and a settee, which allows guests to spend time here while underway. The layout separates operational space from guest areas without isolating it.

Accommodation

Northstar I accommodates up to 9 guests across four cabins on the lower deck, with the option to sleep up to 12 when the main deck cinema lounge is used as an additional cabin.

The full-beam master sits aft and uses the yacht’s beam for added space and storage. A VIP cabin sits forward, while two twin cabins are positioned between them, one fitted with a pullman berth for extra flexibility. All cabins include ensuite bathrooms.

The cinema lounge on the main deck can add up to three berths, which gives the layout more range for charter use.

Crew accommodation sits forward for five to six crew in three cabins, which supports service without crossing guest areas.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M92) 16-cylinder 2,000hp engines, motor yacht Northstar I is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
