Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.65m beam and a 2.35m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 456 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the eighth yacht built on the CRN 43 design. Launched in May 2013 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2013.
Exterior Design
Palatial is a 42.6m (139.9ft) CRN Navetta 43, one of the Italian yard's most successful semi-custom series. Zuccon International Project gave the yacht a profile that balances the volume expected of a long-range displacement yacht with clean, flowing lines that still look contemporary years after launch.
The bow carries plenty of height and presence, tapering into a long foredeck that enhances the yacht's elegant proportions. From the side, the most striking feature is the continuous sweep of dark glazing that stretches almost the full length of the main and upper decks. These long window bands visually lower the superstructure and help break up the yacht's substantial volume.
Palatial's four-deck arrangement creates a layered profile that steps gently towards the stern. Large overhangs provide welcome shade across the exterior decks, while the upper decks remain open enough to take advantage of views underway or at anchor. A fold-out balcony integrated into the forward main deck bulwark creates a private terrace for the owner's suite and introduces one of the Navetta 43's signature design features.
The aft decks descend naturally towards the water, culminating in a beach club and swim platform arrangement that creates a good connection to the sea. Wide side decks and high bulwarks contribute to the secure feel expected of a yacht designed for extended cruising.
Interior Design
Palatial's interior benefits from the volume that made the CRN Navetta 43 series so popular. Wide beam dimensions and full-height windows create bright living spaces with excellent views, while the layout prioritises comfortable long-term cruising rather than short-stay accommodation.
The main saloon occupies a large footprint and takes full advantage of the yacht's broad beam. Extensive glazing floods the space with natural light, while the open arrangement allows guests to move easily between lounge and dining areas. The uninterrupted window lines create a strong visual connection with the surroundings whether underway or at anchor.
Across the guest areas, the emphasis is on generous proportions and practical luxury. The yacht's displacement hull allows substantial interior volume for a vessel of this length, and that extra space is particularly noticeable in the principal living areas.
The bridge deck provides additional indoor and outdoor social spaces, while the upper decks offer a variety of seating and dining areas that allow guests to spread out across the yacht. Large exterior lounges and shaded entertaining spaces support the yacht's role as a comfortable long-range cruising platform.
Accommodation
Palatial accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins and 9 crew, with a layout centred around a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck.
The owner's suite benefits from the Navetta 43's distinctive fold-out balcony, creating a private terrace directly off the cabin. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light and enhance the sense of space, while the main-deck position provides privacy from the guest accommodation below.
Guest accommodation occupies the lower deck, where four additional cabins provide comfortable accommodation for family and friends. The layout allows good separation between owner, guest and crew areas, which is particularly valuable during extended cruising.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32-ACERT) 1,500hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Palatial is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 45,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,700 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots making her well capable of long range and transatlantic voyages. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
Ensuring everyone on board can enjoy the water to the fullest, luxury yacht Palatial offers a large beach club connected to a swim platform, with plenty of space for lounging and soaking up the sea views. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and an elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible.
