Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.4m beam and a 1.93m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 267 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2018. She was delivered to her owners in August 2020.
Exterior Design
Reginatta is an Alfa Alfresco 125, and her exterior leans hard into volume, deck space and easy family use. The profile is upright and substantial, with a very broad beam of around 8.4m (27.5ft), so the yacht carries a strong, planted look on the water and also delivers unusual width across every deck. The long black glazing band sharpens the profile, while the high bulwarks, wide side decks and deep overhangs give the yacht a secure, all-weather feel.
Aft, the main deck is shaped around a social stern arrangement, with facing seating and sunbeds set right at the water-facing edge. Just forward of that is one of Reginatta’s defining features: a winter garden dining area that can stay fully open in fine weather and then close off with retractable glass doors when conditions change. That gives this section of the yacht far more use across different climates, and also keeps the aft end visually open when the glass is retracted.
The foredeck is split between practical handling gear and guest lounging, so there is a broad sunbathing area as well as a more tucked-away nook right at the bow. Stainless steel rails, deep bulwarks and wide walkways all reinforce the yacht’s solid, substantial character.
Above, the flybridge is the real headline space. At 107 square metres (1,151.7sqft), it is closer to the top deck of a larger yacht, and it is laid out with multiple lounging zones, dining space, a barbecue station, an upper helm and a heated plunge pool. The hardtop brings shade over the central section, and the staircase placement keeps rainwater away from the aft deck below, so the whole layout feels carefully thought through as well as generous.
Interior Design
Inside, Reginatta makes full use of her beam, and that is the first thing that defines the saloon. The room is wide, bright and open, with floor-to-ceiling glass that brings the sea right into the living space. The footprint feels large because the volume spreads across the yacht, so the saloon has the kind of width more often found on a bigger vessel.
The finish is clean and contemporary, with understated detailing and a restrained palette that lets the architecture do the work. Furnishings are low and practical, and the broad windows keep the whole main deck light through the day. The atmosphere is polished but easy, which suits the yacht’s family-led brief.
The winter garden dining area is a major part of the interior story too, as it sits on the edge of inside and outside living. With the glass open, it becomes part of the aft deck, and with the doors closed, it turns into a climate-controlled dining room with panoramic views. That flexibility gives Reginatta a very usable social space in almost any conditions.
Forward on the main deck, the galley is properly equipped for serious use, with full cooking facilities, extensive refrigeration, a dishwasher, trash compactor and direct deck access for crew movement. The wheelhouse also sits on the main deck, and that helps free up the upper deck for guests. It has excellent forward visibility, side access doors on both sides, and a calm, practical layout with all major controls kept close to hand.
Accommodation
Reginatta accommodates up to 10 guests in five cabins, and the layout has been shaped with family use in mind. On the main deck, there is an additional twin guest cabin with an en suite and a Pullman berth, which is especially useful for children, staff or extra guests. That cabin adds welcome flexibility and also makes the main deck work harder for a family program.
Below, the VIP cabin sits forward and benefits from the yacht’s beam and headroom, so it feels generous in every direction. Large hull windows bring in natural light, and the en suite uses Turkish marble to keep the finish in line with the rest of the guest spaces.
The two guest cabins amidships are especially impressive because the beds are placed athwartships, so the cabins make full use of the yacht’s width. That gives them a lot more usable floor space, and both also have private en suites finished in marble. One of these cabins includes an additional Pullman berth.
The owner’s suite is aft on the lower deck and takes full advantage of the hull’s broad sections. It has a large sleeping area, a substantial bathroom with separate toilet and shower, and a dedicated dressing zone leading into a walk-in wardrobe. The result is a suite that feels closer to what you would expect on a larger yacht.
Crew accommodation is arranged for up to seven, with a captain’s cabin, two further crew cabins and a crew mess, as well as strong service access and a highly practical engine room layout built around maintenance and reliability.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C18) 1,100hp engines, motor yacht Reginatta is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 29,999 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,300 nautical miles. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
