Delivered in 2025, Lalabe is a 35.29m motor yacht built by Dutch shipyard Van der Valk. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Guido de Groot Design, while Diana Yacht Design is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 7.8m beam and a 2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 298 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in May 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2025.
Exterior Design
Lalabe’s profile is streamlined and low-slung, shaped by Guido de Groot’s exterior design in close collaboration with the owners. Key visual elements include integrated balconies by the wheelhouse and generously proportioned outdoor spaces across all three decks. Her open layout prioritizes a strong connection between interior and exterior, supporting a lifestyle focused on relaxed family time and easy movement between zones.
The aft deck is arranged as a comfortable social hub, complete with an aft-facing sofa and a large dining table that invites group meals in the open air. Up above, the bridge deck saloon opens on three sides, creating a breezy, sheltered space that still feels connected to the outdoors. The full-beam beach club at the stern adds an additional living area close to the water, equipped with its own lounge, sauna, steam room, day head, and a dedicated towel laundry station. For easy access to the sea or tender boarding, a transformer platform extends from the swim platform.
The exterior has also been designed with safety in mind. 1m high bulwarks line the side decks for additional protection, while the integrated balconies by the wheelhouse offer panoramic views and improved visibility for navigation.
Interior Design
Inside, Lalabe presents a calm and contemporary interior with a focus on comfort, natural light, and smooth transitions between areas. The palette favors light-toned woods, soft textures, and low-profile furnishings, all enhanced by integrated LED lighting and clean-lined detailing. Glass doors and full-height windows ensure an airy, open feel throughout the main deck.
The main saloon features curved seating, a formal dining space, and sliding glass that opens directly to the aft deck, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. A central staircase connects all decks and doubles as a visual centerpiece, its sculptural form complementing the relaxed interior styling.
Accommodation
Accommodation aboard Lalabe is arranged across five guest cabins for a total of 10 guests. The main deck is home to a full-beam owner’s suite, complete with a private lounge, an office area, and separate his-and-hers wardrobes. Two VIP cabins and two twin cabins are located on the lower deck, each with their own ensuite bathrooms, offering a flexible setup for family and guests.
Crew accommodation supports up to seven personnel across four cabins. This includes a captain’s cabin on the upper deck, located just aft of the wheelhouse, and a dedicated engineer’s cabin positioned aft. Crew areas have been configured to ensure privacy and efficiency, and include generous provisioning space, along with additional washer and dryer capacity to support extended time aboard.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (D 2862 LE 489) 1,450hp engines, motor yacht Lalabe is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots.
