The 67.01m motor yacht Siran was delivered to her owners in 1992 by Dutch shipyard Feadship. The yacht's refined interiors have been crafted by Bannenberg & Rowell, while her exteriors have been penned by Tim Heywood Design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.2m beam and a 3.3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,032 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
Siran’s profile shows how far ahead Jon Bannenberg was thinking in the early 1990s.
The long bands of dark glazing, stepped upper works and relatively clean hull sides still feel surprisingly disciplined, while the yacht avoids the heavily stacked look that dates many vessels of the same era.
The windows were one of the big talking points from the start. Rather than relying on small punched openings, Bannenberg used large areas of laminated glass that were bonded rather than bolted into place. That allowed the glazing to sit much more cleanly within the superstructure and gave Siran a stronger horizontal character than was usual at the time.
The bow is long and fairly fine, with the helipad worked into the forward deck rather than taking over one of the aft guest areas. That leaves the back of the yacht free for the social spaces, while the photos show just how much open deck remains around the upper levels.
The stern is one of the lovelier details. Twin curved stairways sweep down around the transom towards the swim platform, creating a proper sense of arrival at the water without needing a modern beach-club arrangement. It is a more sculptural solution and very much of its period, but it still works.
Tender positioning was another part of the original design that helped Siran stand out. The boats were integrated into the yacht rather than simply parked wherever space allowed, which kept the exterior guest decks cleaner and gave the profile a tidier look.
Interior Design
Siran's interior was also by Jon Bannenberg and was every bit as ambitious as the exterior.
The most famous element was the lobby staircase, a 40-tonne marble structure designed to appear as though it were floating. It was the sort of technical and decorative challenge that summed up the yacht rather well: dramatic to look at, but requiring a huge amount of engineering behind the scenes.
The interior also used extensive stainless-steel detailing and a more architectural approach than many yachts of the period. Bannenberg's work was not about filling rooms with decoration for its own sake. He was far more interested in how materials, structure and circulation could create a strong overall identity.
The later rebuilds kept that underlying character rather than wiping the slate clean, which was probably the right call. Siran's appeal comes partly from the fact that the original design language is still there, even after years of technical and practical updating.
Accommodation
Siran offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 17 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516 DITA) 1,491hp engines, motor yacht Siran is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down.
