South C'S is a 26.84m motor yacht for sale delivered by American shipyard Ocean Alexander in 2022. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Evan K Marshall, while Ocean Alexander is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.3m beam and a 1.88m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 163 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Launched in November 2022 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Ocean Alexander's Kaohsiung yard in Taiwan where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.

Exterior Design

The exterior profile has a plumb bow, long hull glazing, and angular superstructure lines that push the yacht toward a more architectural look than a traditional raised pilothouse design. Large expanses of frameless glass dominate the profile, particularly across the main deck, while the skylounge structure integrates cleanly into the overall silhouette rather than appearing added on afterwards. The dark glazing sections visually lower the profile and help balance the height of the superstructure.

South C’S carries the enlarged new-generation pilothouse option, which expands the upper deck entertaining space considerably. The boat deck includes a four-person Jacuzzi with its own dedicated 17kW tankless heater, a wet bar with refrigeration, barbecue, loose lounge furniture, and extended sun awnings. The hardtop structure has integrated access for navigation electronics and supports the twin radar domes above.

At sea level, the hydraulic swim platform has a 680kg (1,500lb) lifting capacity and links directly into the enclosed beach club. Unlike many open transom lounges, this space is fully climate controlled with dedicated air conditioning, refrigeration, seating, and sliding glass doors. Seven underwater lights are integrated into the hull sides and stern.

The yacht also carries several long-range and owner-use upgrades, including towing reinforcement built into the aft structure, Sidepower Vector fin stabilisers with zero-speed capability, bow and stern thrusters rated at 28.4hp, and plug-in remote docking controls positioned at both the aft deck and boat deck. Delta-T ventilation systems, military-grade exhaust construction techniques, and copper-nickel raw-water cooling systems reflect the heavier-duty engineering approach Ocean Alexander applies throughout the platform.

Interior Design

The interior follows a clean contemporary style with a strong focus on light, visibility, and practical day-to-day use. Full-height glazing across the main deck pulls a large amount of daylight into the salon, while the open sightlines help the yacht feel wider than her beam suggests. The atmosphere is modern without becoming cold, helped by soft furnishings, warm timber detailing, and restrained use of gloss finishes.

The salon combines lounge seating, a wet bar, and hidden entertainment systems without crowding the room. Electric sliding glass doors connect the aft deck directly to the salon so the whole aft end of the main deck opens up naturally at anchor. Remote-controlled blinds and integrated lighting allow the space to shift easily between daytime cruising and evening use.

South C’S also benefits from a number of practical owner-led upgrades. The guest corridor bonus room has been converted into a dedicated storage area with custom shelving, which is unusually useful on a yacht in this size range, especially for extended cruising. Additional custom shelving has also been added in the engine room above the starboard engine for organised tool and spare part storage.

The beach club continues the same modern style with glazing, air conditioning, and a wet bar setup that makes it usable as an interior lounge rather than simply a garage space. 

Accommodation

South C’S accommodates up to eight guests across four ensuite staterooms, arranged around a dual-master layout that gives the yacht unusual flexibility for owner use.

The main deck master sits forward with large hullside glazing, a king-sized berth, heated stone bathroom floors, walk-in wardrobe space, vanity area, and electric blinds. Below deck, a second full-beam master provides another owner-standard cabin with its own walk-in wardrobes, king berth, and private feel, making the yacht particularly well suited to shared ownership, extended family cruising, or owners travelling with adult guests.

The remaining guest accommodation consists of two further ensuite cabins. One guest cabin can convert from twin berths into a queen arrangement, which gives the layout more flexibility depending on guest mix.

Crew accommodation sits aft with two cabins for up to four crew, along with a crew mess, kitchenette, private facilities, and integrated vessel monitoring access for the captain.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-1650) 1,650hp engines, motor yacht South C'S is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
