100m Feadship Custom Superyacht Moonrise Sold

The 100-metre Feadship superyacht Moonrise has changed ownership, with Bruce Brakenhoff of Edmiston introducing the buyer and Henry Craven-Smith of Burgess representing the seller.

Delivered in 2020 by Dutch shipyard Feadship, Moonrise features exterior design and naval architecture by De Voogt and interiors by Rémi Tessier. Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the 3,945GT yacht places a strong emphasis on onboard comfort, operational efficiency and reduced noise, and ranked among the largest Feadship deliveries at the time.

The interior of the motor yacht features a palette of neutral tones, natural materials and expansive glazing that creates bright, understated living spaces throughout. The main social areas balance generous proportions with a relaxed residential feel, while carefully selected furnishings reinforce the yacht's contemporary aesthetic. Her interior formed part of the package that helped Moonrise win the 2021 World Superyacht Award for Best Displacement Motor Yacht of 3,000GT and above. A similarly considered approach to bespoke interior design can also be found aboard the Feadship superyacht Breakthrough.

The yacht's exterior is defined by a striking vertical bow, sweeping hull glazing and a fully glass-clad superstructure. Outdoor amenities include a foredeck helipad, expansive beach club with integrated gym and wellness facilities, generous exterior lounges and a sundeck swimming pool, allowing multiple spaces for relaxation and entertaining. The yacht's exceptionally quiet operation was achieved through extensive refinement of the propellers and underwater appendages to reduce both onboard and underwater noise.

Accommodation onboard the boat is arranged for up to 16 guests across eight staterooms, supported by quarters for a crew of 32. The layout provides generous guest spaces throughout, while the crew accommodation benefits from natural light and proportions designed to support long-term operation aboard a yacht of this scale.

Powered by twin 4,747hp MTU diesel engines, Moonrise reaches a top speed of 19.5 knots and cruises comfortably at 16 knots. Quantum stabilisers provide comfort both underway and at anchor, while an ECO-certified dynamic positioning system, exhaust gas treatment technology and a generator heat recovery system contribute to improved efficiency during extended voyages. Ranked number 71 in the YachtBuyer YB100, our exclusive ranking of the world's biggest yachts by gross tonnage, Moonrise remains one of the largest yachts ever built by Feadship. Similar emphasis on advanced engineering can also be found aboard the Feadship superyacht Savannah.
