Designed externally and engineered by De Voogt with interiors by Remi Tessier, the yacht was delivered by Feadship in 2020 and completed a further refinement period in 2022.
Moonrise’s interior was conceived around clarity, calm, and long-term comfort rather than decorative statement. Rémi Tessier’s design uses a restrained, neutral palette with layered textures, soft furnishings, and carefully controlled lighting to create spaces that feel residential in tone and scale. Large expanses of glass, made possible by the fully glazed superstructure, draw natural light deep into the yacht and maintain constant visual connection with the sea.
Ceiling heights are generous throughout, reinforcing the sense of volume created by the yacht’s gross tonnage of 3,945 GT. Circulation between spaces is straightforward and intuitive, supporting both private use and large-scale guest operation. The interior layout was also shaped by a strong focus on acoustic control, with extensive insulation and vibration mitigation ensuring that guest areas remain notably quiet across a wide range of operating conditions.
A helicopter landing area is positioned on the foredeck, an early design decision that later proved practical when the owner first accessed the yacht by air. Aft, the motor yacht opens into a substantial beach club arranged across multiple levels, incorporating a gym and wellness spaces close to the water. Outdoor decks feature flush transitions, high overhead clearances, and open sightlines, reinforcing the sense of scale while remaining easy to move through during guest operations.
The yacht accommodates up to 16 guests across eight cabins, arranged to support both family use and charter-style flexibility. The configuration includes a full-beam owner’s suite alongside a mix of double and twin guest cabins, all benefitting from the yacht’s wide 15.5m beam. Crew accommodation is provided for up to 32, reflecting the operational demands of a 100m displacement yacht.
Powered by twin MTU 20V 4000 M73L diesel engines, Moonrise reaches a top speed of around 19 knots and cruises comfortably at 16 knots. Her propulsion package incorporates exhaust gas treatment technology to reduce emissions and meet current environmental standards, alongside a heat recovery system that improves overall energy efficiency by reusing generator waste heat for onboard systems.
Delivered from Feadship’s Makkum facility after construction began in 2017, Moonrise received the World Superyacht Award for Best Displacement Motor Yacht over 3,000 GT in 2021.
Moonrise is on the market with Feadship and is currently asking €325,000,000.
YachtBuyer Market Watch data shows Feadship has 14 yachts currently under construction or on order worldwide, among them the 80m Thalassa and 50m Project Fun, both due to deliver later this year.
