Ahead of releasing its audited 2025 accounts, the Plymouth-based shipyard confirmed it completed its turnaround program ahead of schedule while achieving more than 100% year-on-year EBITDA growth. The company said performance during the opening months of 2026 has remained on track across production, deliveries, and financial objectives, building on the progress made throughout 2025.
According to CEO Will Green, the early return to profitability has created a platform for the next phase of growth, with further investment planned across product development, manufacturing capabilities, and facilities.
Building the Next Generation of Princess
The strongest signs of that growth strategy can be seen across Princess's current product pipeline. The builder is advancing several major projects simultaneously, including the all-new:
- C48 - Princess's first outboard-powered yacht
- F54 - New family-focused flybridge model
- X90 - High-volume addition to the X Class range
- S74 - New generation sportbridge yacht
- Odyssey 106 - New superyacht platform
We continue to invest in new products, facilities and capabilities while maintaining strong operational discipline across the business. Returning the business to profitability ahead of plan has given us the confidence to accelerate investments in the future product portfolio."
- Will Green, CEO of Princess Yachts
The latter recently announced Odyssey 106 marks Princess's return to the 30m-plus superyacht segment, a category the company has not competed in for several years. Princess says these projects form part of a wider multi-year investment program designed to support the next generation of yachts across its portfolio.
The C48 - Fastest-Ever Princess Nears Debut
Among the most significant developments is progress on the new C48, the first model in the upcoming Princess C Class range.
The first hull has now emerged from the mold and entered the fit-out stage ahead of its scheduled global debut at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Developed in partnership with Olesinski and naval architect Michael Peters, the model represents several firsts for the shipyard, becoming Princess's first outboard-powered yacht and first stepped-hull production model. It is also expected to be the fastest Princess motor yacht ever built.
With the primary structural work now complete, the project moves into the next phase of systems installation, interior manufacturing, and final outfitting at the company's Plymouth facilities.
Momentum Builds for F54 and X90
Progress is also continuing across two other key launches. The first F54 has moved into assembly following the completion of hull and deck molding. Part of the Princess F-Class and designed around flexible onboard living, the model features a walk-around transom arrangement, convertible cockpit seating, and accommodation for six guests across three cabins. The yacht is scheduled to launch later this year before making its public debut at boot Düsseldorf 2027.
Meanwhile, the first X90 is preparing for sea trials ahead of a planned summer launch. The newest addition to the Princess X Class range has already generated strong early demand, with seven units sold before launch and a further four yachts currently under construction. Princess plans to showcase the model during an exclusive preview event in London this August before its global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
The X90 forms part of a wider development pipeline that, according to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, currently includes 16 Princess yachts in build or development.
Recent Milestones Beyond the Turnaround
The latest business update follows a series of notable milestones for the brand over recent months. Earlier this year, the Princess X95 was formally inducted into the YachtBuyer Hall of Fame after achieving a flawless YB five-star score during YachtBuyer's independent review process. The model played a significant role in establishing the builder's X Class concept and helping define the modern "super flybridge" segment.
YachtBuyer also stepped aboard the Princess F55 Mango with owner Henry Firman, providing a detailed look at how one of the builder's most popular flybridge yachts performs in real-world ownership and charter use. The feature highlighted the continued appeal of the F Class range, which remains a cornerstone of the Princess lineup.
Taken together with the latest construction milestones, these developments point to a builder that is strengthening both its product portfolio and its market position. Having completed its turnaround program ahead of schedule, Princess now appears focused on converting that progress into long-term growth through investment, new model launches, and expansion into new segments of the market.
