Making her world premiere, the new flagship of the Riva Flybridge range takes pride of place in Ferretti Yachts' six-yacht fleet.
At Port Hercule, the Riva 112’ Dolcevita Super was not the only Ferretti yacht to take the stage, with the fleet also featuring models from Custom Line, Pershing, and Wally.
Yet, for Riva in particular, the debut is the culmination of its steady push into larger superyacht formats, an arc that began with the Dolcevita line and is now advancing with the announcement of the forthcoming 70-metre flagship.
The Dolcevita Heritage
The Dolcevita series occupies a unique position within Riva’s portfolio. First introduced in 2018 with the Riva 110’ Dolcevita, the line was conceived as a bridge between the brand’s traditional flybridge yachts and its move into superyachts. The 112’ Dolcevita Super builds on this foundation while revisiting several key design principles.
Developed in partnership with Officina Italiana Design, the studio responsible for Riva’s entire modern range, the new yacht evolves the flowing profile and panoramic glazing that have defined the Dolcevita style.
The additional length creates room for revised deck layouts and larger volume, positioning the yacht firmly in the superyacht category with expanded liveability across her four decks.
Exterior Design
The exterior silhouette of the yacht is shaped around balance and proportion. A long hull line with continuous glazing gives a sense of forward motion, while the superstructure sits low and sculpted. The bow is more pronounced than in previous Dolcevita models, creating both volume and presence at anchor.
On the aft deck of the motor yacht, the emphasis is on lifestyle and water connection. The beach club concept has been developed with larger transom doors and a hydraulic swim platform, a direct response to the way owners are using yachts as extensions of coastal life.
Above, the sundeck spans almost the full length of the yacht’s beam, creating space for dining, lounging, and optional spa facilities.
Interior Design
Inside, the superyacht is conceived as a villa on the sea. Floor-to-ceiling windows and low bulwarks open the main salon to the surrounding water, while interiors carry the Riva hallmark of polished woods, lacquered surfaces, and neutral fabrics.
The sense of continuity between interior and exterior is deliberate, reinforcing the yacht’s role as a social platform.
The owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck, benefitting from panoramic views and private access to the bow lounge.
Below deck, four guest cabins accommodate up to eight guests, while crew quarters forward maintain clear separation for professional operation.
A notable development in the Dolcevita Super is the flexibility of interior layouts. Riva has allowed for variations in salon configuration, dining placement, and wellness areas, a recognition of the growing demand for semi-custom options in yachts at this size bracket.
Technical Foundation
Built at Ferretti Group’s La Spezia Superyacht Yard, the yacht is engineered around a fiberglass planing hull, consistent with the Dolcevita line’s focus on performance. The new Riva 112’ Dolcevita Super is fitted with two MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each delivering 2,638 horsepower, driving the yacht to a top speed of 25.5 knots and a cruising speed of 23 knots. Alternatively, owners can opt for two MTU 16V 2000 M97L engines, also rated at 2,638 horsepower, but equipped with an SCR system for nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction.
Stabilization is supported by two zero-speed and underway fins and Humphree interceptor trim tabs, with the option of twin Seakeeper NG18 gyroscopic units for additional comfort. This balance between performance and efficiency reinforces the model’s role as both a fast cruiser and a capable long-range yacht.
The Broader Ferretti Group Fleet at Monaco
The Riva 112’ Dolcevita Super was not alone on the docks of Port Hercule. Ferretti Group presented a diverse fleet that underscored the breadth of its brand portfolio. Custom Line brought two of its latest models, the Navetta 38 and Custom Line 140’, both emphasizing scale and personalization.
Pershing contributed the GTX116 Yacht, part of the new crossover series designed for performance-oriented owners, while Wally showcased the sailing yacht wallywind110 and the wallywhy200 yacht.
This spread of six yachts illustrates Ferretti Group’s ability to move fluidly between different design languages, from traditional Italian elegance to radical contemporary experimentation.
Growth in the Superyacht Segment
Ferretti Group’s Monaco press conference set the commercial context for the premieres. Between 2021 and 2024, net revenues from new yachts increased nearly 40 percent, driven largely by growth in the superyacht and made-to-measure sectors.
In the same timeframe, the share of superyachts in the order book doubled, evidence of a structural shift in demand.

At present, 47 yachts over 30 meters are in production or recently launched across the Group’s brands. Riva’s recent announcements frame this trajectory: the 54Metri yacht launched earlier this year, alongside the unveiling of the 70Metri, Riva's largest flagship and the planned 42Metri Caravelle semi-displacement yacht scheduled for 2027.
Together, these projects chart a deliberate expansion of Riva into the superyacht field.
A Word from Leadership
Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group, characterized Monaco as the ideal stage for the company’s direction: “The autumn boat show season has been a great satisfaction, giving us many reasons for optimism. And we can’t wait to present all the projects and new developments we’ve got planned in the coming months, starting with Riva 42 metri Caravelle.”
His reference to the Caravelle connected the present to Riva’s history. The original Caravelle series of the 1960s was one of the shipyard’s first ventures into larger steel yachts. The revival of the name underlines both continuity and progression, anchoring new models in a heritage narrative that is core to Riva’s brand identity.
Carlo Riva, the genius of yachting and beauty, always used to say to me: “Alberto, make them beautiful!” And we continue to work, plan and design so that his wish is fulfilled.

CRN and Custom Line in Context
While Riva drew attention at Monaco, Ferretti’s fully custom division, CRN Yachts, continues to occupy the top of the Group’s portfolio. The delivery of the 72-metre Amor à Vida yacht earlier this year reinforced CRN’s capability, while three further projects between 67 and 86 meters are now in build at the Ancona yard.
Custom Line, meanwhile, used Monaco to introduce the Saetta 128' superyacht, which is currently under construction for launch in 2026. The Saetta name aligns with Custom Line’s strategy of clearly distinguishing its planing and displacement families, with the Navetta 38 yacht continuing as the long-range platform.
Partnerships and Lifestyle Dimension
As in previous years, Ferretti Group’s presence extended beyond yachts to lifestyle partnerships. Range Rover was present as automotive partner, joined by private aviation provider Flexjet. Luxury brands Frette, Venini, Dolce & Gabbana, and Lavazza added further presence across furnishings, uniforms, and hospitality. These collaborations underscore the Group’s position not just as a yacht builder but as a curator of a broader lifestyle proposition, particularly at an event like Monaco.
As the yacht joins the wider Ferretti fleet on the world stage, her presence confirms that the Dolcevita name continues to evolve, anchoring Riva’s journey into larger formats while retaining the timeless character that has always defined the brand.
