On Deck
The Sunreef 80 Eco is a world premiere model, and straight off the aft, it opens with a vast swim platform that doubles as a hydraulic tender lift. This is a full-on party space with a 1,300 kg (2,866 lbs) lift capacity. The terrace is broad enough for guests to gather comfortably, and there's a separate manual swim ladder fitted into dedicated receptacles for simpler access.
Moving upward onto the sugar scoops, the updated wraparound design eases boarding from floating docks and aids in tender operations. The staircase leading up from the platform is noticeably wide - a generous approach matched by thoughtful safety features like removable stanchions.
The side boarding door brings you to an ultra-wide walkway flanked by solar panels integrated into the superstructure. While some debate the efficiency of side-mounted panels, the Sunreef’s setup responds dynamically to sun angle, maximizing exposure throughout the day.
Up front, the foredeck delivers on both form and function. There’s a jacuzzi tub and a lounging zone built into the bow layout, with layout cushions and integrated storage underneath. The non-skid decking around this area is practical and expansive, with big cleats for bow line management. Underneath, a large storage compartment sits beside a crew-accessible forward peak, which holds a single bunk and a wet head.
The flybridge builds further on the exterior experience. It’s split between lounging, entertaining, and fitness, with sun pads, a U-shaped dining area, and an upper bar with fixed stools. You’ll also find two electric grills, a dumbwaiter linked to the galley below, and a compact sink. The dumbwaiter serves all three levels for quick and discreet food service. The ceiling panels and integrated lighting bring a sense of polish, and a soft enclosure can be deployed to protect the entire flybridge from the elements.
Above the flybridge, a ladder gives access to the hardtop, which houses the yacht’s solar infrastructure and electronics. Solar panels stretch across 2,150 square feet and can generate up to 36 kWp. The design incorporates a flex fiber composite material that resembles carbon fiber, adding a modern, sustainable touch across furniture and surfaces.
Interior Accommodation
Inside, the grand salon strikes a balance between comfort and elegance. There are two-tier settees and a formal interior dining table for eight, set against a backdrop of gold-accented fixtures and custom soft furnishings. A retractable TV, backlit bar module, and built-in coffee maker keep the area fully equipped for entertaining. Behind the bar are wine coolers by Liebherr and ample storage with clever pop-up mechanisms. The styling leans organic, using sustainable materials like the flex fiber composite throughout.
Forward, a watertight door opens to the foredeck to allow a cross-breeze and easy movement between indoor and outdoor areas. The interior helm sits on the starboard side with discreet access to all systems - navigation, battery management, generator controls, and safety equipment like the Fireboy suppression system. A chart plotter, VHF, and autopilot are also neatly arranged here.
Below, the galley sits in the starboard hull and is fully outfitted with Miele appliances including a raised oven, microwave, induction cooktop, pop-up vent, trash compactor, dishwasher, washer-dryer, and a large fridge-freezer combo. There's even another washer-dryer in the guest area for convenience. A smart pantry runs alongside the galley, fitted with pull-out storage for bottles and dry goods. The dumbwaiter connects directly above to the flybridge and salon bar, providing seamless vertical access.
Just aft of the galley, a small crew mess seats four - ideal for the typical four-person crew setup. Storage continues throughout, with extra compartments cleverly tucked into corner spaces and the bilge area. Here you’ll also find the fuel polishing system, a sizeable water heater, and additional refrigeration.
Owner's Cabin
The owner’s suite is located in the starboard hull and features a king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe, pop-up TV, and a built-in desk or vanity area. The large Sunreef hull windows - openable and newly styled - bring in natural light and ventilation. There’s a cozy sitting nook, nightstand storage with integrated phone charging, and the overall layout is open and calm.
Forward is the ensuite, finished in brushed gold and fitted with a rain and handheld shower, large mirror, drawer storage, and a medicine cabinet. The shower itself is generously sized and includes an openable porthole for fresh air.
Guest Accommodation
Three guest cabins are spread across both hulls. In the port hull aft is a kids’ room with four bunk beds and dedicated storage - a fun, practical space for younger guests. This cabin has a fully fitted ensuite with gold fixtures and a compact, stylish shower.
Forward in the port hull is the VIP suite. It offers generous storage with drawers and lockers, Sunreef’s signature windows, and a full ensuite with bench seating in the shower. There’s also a washer-dryer nearby for guest use. The styling here mirrors the owner’s suite, combining brushed gold with calm, muted tones for a relaxed but upscale atmosphere.
A third guest cabin sits amidships in the port hull, configured for flexible accommodation.
Crew Accommodation
Crew accommodation includes a forward peak with a single bunk and wet head - accessed through a ladder. Further aft, a full-size crew cabin sits beneath the cockpit, with a hanging locker, additional storage, and another wet head finished to the same standard as the guest areas. Its placement allows flexibility - either for permanent crew or as overflow accommodation when running with a smaller team.
The split-staircase access to this area is neatly designed, cutting out alternate steps to save space without compromising function.
Performance
The Sunreef 80 Eco is powered by twin 360 kW electric motors. Energy comes from a 990 kWh battery bank, which is roughly 30% lighter than conventional systems for improved efficiency. A total of 33.4 to 36 kWp solar capacity is provided by integrated panels on the flybridge and hull.
Batteries are lithium iron and protected by their own fire suppression system. Air-conditioned technical spaces include battery compartments and crawl-access systems behind the guest areas.
The yacht’s range is estimated at up to 300 nautical miles in full-electric mode, according to Sunreef. Regeneration is assisted by solar charging and system weight reduction.
In Summary
The Sunreef 80 Eco is a flagship model that merges scale with sustainability. With four staterooms, dedicated crew space, and separated galley and living zones, the layout is geared for serious cruising. The 100% electric drive and solar integration make it one of the most advanced yachts of its kind, with thoughtful eco design details extending from the flex fiber furnishings to the dumbwaiter system spanning all three decks.
Exterior lounging spaces span from the beach club swim platform to the jacuzzi-equipped bow and the fully loaded flybridge. Inside, organic textures, brushed gold accents, and intelligent storage solutions show a high level of owner involvement and customization.
If you're planning to host, relax, or cruise quietly off-grid, the Sunreef 80 Eco is built to deliver all of it - in electric silence.
