On Deck
Boarding starts at the transformer platform. It lifts or drops to match the quay, or sinks low enough to give direct water access, so it works as a tidy bit of kit for anyone who likes a belt and braces approach to boarding. It leads straight into a broad beach club with plenty of space to rig kit or sit close to the water. Steps ahead take you up to the cockpit.
The cockpit links straight through to the saloon and also carries the side balconies. One sits to port and one to starboard. Each folds out flat and gains its guard rails, so the whole aft deck grows in size. A side door on this level gives crew a clean route in and out when they serve the deck or head aft toward the garage.
Forward on the upper deck, two wing stations sit outboard of the bridge. Each holds thruster and throttle controls, so you can see straight down the hull during close quarters work. Past the wing stations, the foredeck spreads out into a big social place with teak tables and well-made joinery. Two jet skis sit right forward. A crane lifts each ski out and over the side, which helps in tight yacht-show conditions like those in Monaco when this tour took place.
The upper aft deck sits behind the upper saloon. It gives more shaded outdoor space with a bar to starboard. A stair from here leads to the sundeck.
Up on the sundeck, the layout opens out again. A large hot tub sits aft. A crane up here can lift more jet skis or even a five metre tender, so the owner can tailor this place for toys, sunbeds, or extra gear. Forward of the tub, water from a small waterfall trickles into a shallow feature. A dining area then fills the centre. Roof panels above open or close one by one, so you can chase shade or sun. There is storage on one side and a day head on the other. A full bar completes the deck.
Interior
The main saloon covers about 55 sq/m (592 sq/ft), while floor to ceiling glass on both sides draws in light and gives a wide view when the Majesty 140 sits at anchor. A concealed TV hides behind a mirror panel. Ten guests can dine at the forward table
At the forward end of the deck, a touch panel opens the door into the guest lobby. Lights rise as you step in. Stairs here link to the upper deck and to the lower guest level. A day head sits off the lobby for guests on this deck.
The upper saloon sits aft of the bridge on the next level up. It is a less formal space than the main saloon. A bar serves the lounge. A concealed TV hides behind another panel. Sliding doors aft lead out to the upper aft deck. Another day head sits nearby for easy access.
The galley sits forward on the main deck in the crew domain, reached through a sliding door from the saloon. It is a full commercial space with Miele kit throughout and a large bank of refrigeration. A crew mess sits beside it. A side access door lets crew slip out to the deck without crossing guest spaces.
Owner's Cabin
The master sits forward on the main deck. An office area greets you before you step through to the cabin itself. A huge walk in wardrobe takes up the starboard side. Further storage lines the port side with another hidden TV.
A large private balcony sits outboard. Slide the glass doors aside and drop the balcony to gain private outdoor space for breakfast or quiet time at anchor.
The full beam bathroom lies forward, again with lights that rise as you walk in. A feature wall glows behind the bath. The toilet and bidet sit in a separate cubicle. A big shower stands to port with twin basins nearby, and you can close the whole zone off or leave it all open.
Guest Accommodation
A staircase in the lobby takes you down to the lower guest deck. Two twin cabins sit aft with their own wardrobes, small storage niches, en suite bathrooms, and rainfall showers. Each holds a concealed TV.
Forward of these twins sit two larger doubles. Each gains more floor area, more wardrobe space, and a sizeable en suite. A dressing place sits in at least one of these doubles. All four guest cabins feel closer to master cabin scale on smaller yachts.
Storage hides in several places on this deck, with a dedicated linen cupboard set into a bulkhead, so crew do not need to carry bedding up and down stairs.
Crew Accommodation
The crew domain links together through a mix of doors and passageways. A secret door is just off the guest lobby and gives crew a straight route up, down, or out without crossing guest paths. That same door connects to the master area if needed.
The galley and pantry sit on the main deck with a side door to the exterior. From the galley, stairs lead down to the crew cabins. Three cabins sit here. Each holds twin berths, plenty of storage, a small desk, and a private en suite with a decent shower. The crew were aboard during the tour, so only one cabin was shown, but all share the same layout.
The captain’s cabin sits on the upper deck beside the bridge. It holds its own en suite and gives the captain fast access during long passages.
The server room also sits on the upper deck. All networking, AV kit, and data systems live here in one tidy rack that stays get at able and well cooled.
Performance & Engine Room
Access to the engineering spaces sits aft on the main deck. A stair drops you into the combined garage and laundry. Laundry machines fill the aft bulkhead. The tender sits in the centre and lifts out through a side door via an overhead crane. The space leaves good room to move around the tender for service. The door’s heavy duty mechanism is exposed overhead, and the engineering behind the hinge and lock gear shows the scale of the build.
A pair of MTU V16 2600 horsepower engines fill the engine room. These give a top speed of roughly 20 knots and a cruise of about 16 knots. Pull the speed back to 10 knots and the yacht gains a transatlantic range of around 4000 miles. Twin generators sit aft. The space holds full headroom and several escape routes, including a hatch up to the deck and a passage aft to the beach club.
The room is dense with plumbing, wiring, and support systems, all laid out for clear access.
Ownership Considerations
Gulf Craft backs its yachts with a solid after-sales setup. Their own teams handle mechanical work, joinery, electrics, AV systems, paint, haul-outs, and full yard jobs at their Umm Al Quwain facility, with parts supply and support that follow the yacht wherever it roams. Warranty support covers the usual early-life snags, and the layout of their service centres means owners avoid the run-around you get with fragmented third-party networks. It keeps things tidy for the crew and gives the skipper one place to turn when the yacht needs attention.
Running costs for a yacht in the Majesty 140 bracket follow the usual big-boat rule of thumb. Expect something in the region of 10-15% of the yacht’s value each year, with some owners setting aside nearer 20 if they cruise hard or keep a full crew roster.
Two rival yachts that are worth considering when looking at the Gulf Craft Majesty 140 are the Custom Line Navetta 42 and the Benetti Class 44M.
In Summary
The Majesty 140 sits in the bracket where volume and clear deck flow matter as much as speed. It gives huge social places from the beach club to the sundeck, with a calm, open style and a layout that works for private use or charter.
