Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10m beam and a 2.4m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 780 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2018. This was the first yacht built on the Romeo 55 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in September 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The 54.4m (178.4ft) Al Hanem 2 has a strong explorer-style profile with clean horizontal lines and a broad superstructure that gives the yacht real presence on the water. Designed and built by Romeo Marine in Dubai, the yacht combines a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure, so the proportions stay balanced despite the substantial 780GT internal volume.
The profile is shaped around long bands of dark glazing that contrast against the light exterior finish, while the near-plumb bow adds a modern, capable look associated with long-range cruising yachts. Large overhangs provide shade across the aft decks and also help soften the height of the superstructure.
One of the most striking visual elements is the layered aft deck arrangement. Open staircases framed by timber detailing connect the decks, while the beach club and swim platform sit low to the water. Above, the sundeck has been arranged as a social hub with a pool, bar, barbecue area and generous lounging space under a hardtop.
The yacht’s exterior layout focuses heavily on openness and movement between indoor and outdoor areas. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels wrap around key guest spaces, so the connection to the sea remains constant throughout the yacht. The upper deck aft dining space and main deck aft lounge both benefit from wide open views and sheltered seating areas suited to long days outside.
Interior Design
The interiors by Pulina Exclusive Interiors focus on light, scale and clean architectural lines rather than heavy decoration. Large sections of glazing, high ceilings and open-plan layouts give the yacht a bright, airy atmosphere throughout, while the use of natural light becomes a defining part of the onboard experience.
The main saloon has a contemporary layout with wide lounge areas positioned beside full-height windows, so guests stay connected to the surroundings whether underway or at anchor. The formal dining area continues the same open feel, with carefully integrated lighting and modern detailing throughout the space.
A sculptural spiral staircase forms one of the centrepieces of the interior design and connects all decks alongside a panoramic elevator. Together they create an easy flow throughout the yacht while also acting as strong visual features within the central guest spaces.
The upper deck lounge offers a more relaxed setting with flexible use depending on the owner’s preferences, while the upper deck itself can also convert into a fully equipped gym.
