The 24m motor yacht Feadship 80 / 01 is being constructed by Dutch shipyard Feadship and is due to be delivered in 2027. The yacht's refined interiors have been crafted by Wetzels Brown Partners, while her exteriors have been penned by Werner Yacht Design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a modified deep vee aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 6.17m beam and a 1.65m draft.

This was the first yacht built on the Feadship 80 design.

Exterior Design

With the F80, Feadship returns to a part of the market it largely left behind decades ago. While the Dutch yard has spent recent years building fully custom yachts from around 40m upwards, many owners wanted a smaller yacht without giving up the build quality, comfort and engineering that define a Feadship. The F80 answers that demand, bringing the yard's approach to a yacht of around 24m while keeping the feel of a true superyacht. It also gives existing Feadship owners a way to stay with the brand instead of moving to builders such as Zeelander, Mulder or Sanlorenzo when downsizing.

The design takes clear cues from classic Feadships but strips away anything unnecessary. A long foredeck, low coachroof and clean sheer line give the yacht a calm, balanced profile rather than an aggressive one. The deep blue hull contrasts with the bright white superstructure, while a single band of dark glazing runs almost the full length of the accommodation. Narrow forward hull windows recall earlier Feadships, but the flush glazing and smooth aluminium construction give the yacht a fresh, modern look. Even before paint, the bare aluminium hull showed the high standard of Feadship's metalwork, with remarkably fair plating that needs very little filler.

Although compact by Feadship standards, the F80 carries far more room than many yachts of similar length. The beam, hull shape and careful control of the yacht's proportions create generous living spaces without making the profile look heavy. Large windows bring daylight deep into the interior and reduce the visual weight of the superstructure, while high bulwarks provide security without spoiling the clean lines.

The deck layout follows the same thinking. A large U-shaped cockpit aft converts into a sunpad, with a wet bar close by and a hydraulic bathing platform leading down to the water. The transom garage launches a Williams SportJet 3.45 by slipway and also has space for two Seabobs. Forward, another seating area and large sunpads create a second outdoor lounge that stays well protected by the high bulwarks when underway.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by 3 x diesel Volvo Penta (1350 IPS) 1,000hp engines, motor yacht Feadship 80 / 01 is capable of reaching a top speed of 33 knots, and comfortably cruises at 25 knots. With her 8,600 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,600 nautical miles.
