The 144'7" motor yacht Fortitude 1 is being constructed by Italian shipyard Benetti and is due to be delivered in 2025. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Giorgio M. Cassetta, while Benetti is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 29'8" beam and a 7'7" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 471 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the Class 44M design. Launched in May 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
Fortitude1 is a 44-meter (144-foot) flagship yacht from Benetti’s Class line, distinguished by its elegant exterior styling and refined proportions developed by Giorgio M. Cassetta. As the largest fiberglass model built at Benetti’s Viareggio facility, she carries forward the brand’s hallmark Italian design language, interpreted with fresh sophistication for this series.
The yacht’s outdoor spaces are designed for both privacy and social life at sea, starting with a broad sunpad area on the Upper Deck, custom-designed to suit the owner’s preferences. The foredeck is one of Fortitude 1’s standout features, where a generous pool area includes built-in seating and sun loungers - a space purposefully shaped to enjoy sweeping, unobstructed sea views.
The sundeck spans 102 square meters (1,098 square feet) and is arranged as an expansive entertainment zone. This area, along with the aft section of the Main Deck and the beach club, creates multiple outdoor destinations across the yacht, each encouraging relaxation and shared experiences. The overall design draws on timeless cues but integrates contemporary materials and technologies, including the use of FSC®-certified wood and transparent fashion plates that further open up the spaces to natural light.
Interior Design
Fortitude 1’s interior, also shaped by Giorgio M. Cassetta, is built around the idea of light, space, and togetherness. Large expanses of glazing throughout the yacht allow daylight to pour in, enhancing the sense of openness and easing the transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. Transparent fashion plates further extend this luminous feel, helping to cultivate an interior environment that feels both bright and calm.
A clean, neutral palette sets the tone throughout, with light-toned materials and finishes establishing a warm and elegant ambiance. On the Main Deck, white marble flooring adds a refined touch, anchoring the space with quiet sophistication.
Central to the social interior layout is the Sky Lounge, positioned to take full advantage of the panoramic views. It serves as one of the yacht’s primary gathering points, reinforcing the sense of conviviality that runs through the entire design. Each area on board has been planned to support time spent together - whether lounging, dining, or simply enjoying the views.
Accommodation
Fortitude 1 offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V-12 1400) 12-cylinder 1,400hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Fortitude 1 is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 15,850 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,800 nautical miles at an economic speed of 11 knots.
