Funtasea is a 28.65m open yacht delivered by British shipyard Sunseeker in 2005. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Don Shead Yacht Design, while Ken Freivokh is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.4m beam and a 2.01m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 74 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Accommodation

Funtasea offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (16V2000M90) 1,650hp engines, motor yacht Funtasea is capable of reaching a top speed of 30 knots, and comfortably cruises at 26 knots. With her 8,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 750 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
