The 30.48m motor yacht Gioe I was delivered to her owners in 2009 by Italian shipyard Tecnomar. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Tecnomar.

Key Features

  • Dining table converts to sunpad
  • Flybridge with barbecue and loungers
  • King-sized bed in master suite
  • Zebrano wood interior finishes

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.5m beam and a 2.5m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 156 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Gioe I presents a sleek exterior defined by clean lines and a contemporary profile. Her hull is finished in white with a contrasting black stripe at the waterline, giving her a crisp, modern look. The design includes a lowered bulwark and oversized windows across the main deck and guest cabins, enhancing the natural light that flows into the interior and reinforcing her open, spacious feel.

Outdoor spaces are designed for relaxation and sociability. At the stern, the cockpit features a large table that comfortably seats ten guests for al fresco dining. This table can also be lowered to create an expansive sunbathing area when not in use. Up top, the flybridge is laid out with broad sun pads and a built-in BBQ, forming a laid-back setting ideal for long afternoons in the sun.

Forward on the bow, there are more sun pads alongside a cushioned bench, offering a private spot to relax underway or at anchor. The sundeck includes yet another generous sunbathing zone, with enough room to stretch out and unwind. A tent-style canopy can be rigged here for shade, providing comfortable lounging even at midday.

Water toys are stowed forward and include a paddleboard, kayak, and jet ski, along with a large floating platform that’s especially popular with children. It’s designed to keep younger guests entertained for hours while adults relax close by. Whether it’s sunbathing, dining, or simply enjoying the sea views, the deck spaces on Gioe I cater effortlessly to a range of moods and moments.

The cockpit table on Gioe I drops down to reveal a hidden sunlounger.

Interior Design

The interior of Gioe I pairs contemporary style with a calm, neutral palette. Finishes include Zebrano wood, light beige ceiling fabric on the main deck, and dark wood floors, creating a stylish contrast across the saloon and dining area. The overall feel is modern, warm, and inviting.

The main saloon features a lounge-style arrangement with comfortable armchairs and an open-plan layout that flows into the formal dining area. A dining table for eight is positioned forward, making it easy to host intimate dinners indoors. There’s also a compact bar area, cleverly tucked into a corner, providing an easy-access spot for guests to help themselves to refreshments.

The galley is compact but well-equipped. Nearby, a day head adds convenience for guests on the main deck. The helm station sits forward with adjacent crew areas, including a crew mess, contributing to smooth onboard operations without disturbing guest spaces.

Entertainment systems are integrated throughout, including satellite TV, Apple TV, and Wi-Fi, providing easy access to media in all cabins and communal spaces. Small touches - like a fridge in the master suite for nighttime snacks or drinks - underline the yacht’s attention to guest comfort.

Accommodation

Gioe I accommodates up to 12 guests across five cabins, each with ensuite facilities and a thoughtfully designed layout.

The full-beam master suite is positioned amidships on the lower deck and includes a king-sized bed, large ensuite bathroom with twin sinks, and extra storage space designed specifically for large suitcases - a practical feature that stands out for its consideration of real-life needs on board. A built-in fridge adds another layer of privacy and convenience.

Two VIP cabins are located on the lower deck, each with a queen-sized bed and private ensuite. Alongside these are two twin cabins, both equipped with a Pullman berth to increase capacity. These cabins also feature ensuite bathrooms fitted with bidets, a feature that’s often overlooked but warmly appreciated by seasoned travellers.

The crew quarters accommodate up to five staff, ensuring guests are looked after attentively without intruding on their personal space.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M91) 2,000hp engines, motor yacht Gioe I is capable of reaching a top speed of 28 knots, and comfortably cruises at 21 knots.
