Fort Lauderdale, FL, USAThe 47.85m motor yacht Lady Joy was delivered to her owners in 2007 by Christensen. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Christensen, while Carol Williamson & Associates is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.99m beam and a 2.51m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2005 with the keel laid under the project name 'Lady Joy II'. She was delivered to her owners in August 2007.
Accommodation
Lady Joy offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in 7 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 1 VIP cabin, 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 11 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V4000) 1,798hp engines, motor yacht Lady Joy is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 58,333 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,300 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and an elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible. Lady Joy also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
