Design & Construction
Designed around a deep vee fiberglass hull and a carbon fibre superstructure she features a 6.58m beam and a 1.93m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 145 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the twelfth yacht built on the Grande 27M design.
Exterior Design
Mastermind is a 26.78m (87.9ft) Azimut Grande 27M, and the profile leans into a sharp, forward-driven stance shaped by Stefano Righini. The vertical bow sets the tone straight away, while the widebody layout pushes volume outwards, so the yacht carries more internal space without losing its low, aggressive line.
Carbon fibre plays a key role across the superstructure, and that reduces weight as well as lowering the centre of gravity, so the design supports a larger flybridge without compromising stability. The glazing runs long and deep along the hull and superstructure, and full-height sections bring light into the interior while keeping sightlines open. Cutaway bulwarks sit beside the main saloon windows, so seated guests look straight out to the water rather than into structure.
The foredeck works as a private lounge, with sunpads and seating arranged as a sheltered social space. Up top, the flybridge stretches wide for this size, and it carries dining, a bar, grill, and lounging areas under a hardtop. Aft, the transom folds down into a beach club, while the tender garage sits just above, so the space works hard both underway and at anchor.
Interior Design
The main saloon sits within those full-height windows, so the space stays bright throughout the day, while the widebody beam gives it more usable floor area than most yachts at this length. The layout keeps seating and dining connected, as well as allowing clear movement through the deck without tight transitions.
Materials follow Azimut’s modern approach, with clean finishes and controlled contrast rather than heavy detailing. Light tones work with darker accents, so the interior feels open without losing definition. The glazing also plays a role here, as it draws the outside in and keeps the horizon in view from most positions.
The helm integrates into the forward section of the main deck, and it keeps direct side access, so movement between inside and outside remains simple for the crew.
Accommodation
Superyacht Mastermind accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, with the owner’s suite set on the main deck. This position gives the owner more light and separation, as well as direct proximity to the main living areas.
Below deck, the layout includes a VIP cabin, a double cabin, and a twin, and each space has its own en suite. The cabins follow the same design language as the main deck, with clean lines and balanced materials, so the feel stays consistent throughout.
Crew accommodation supports up to 3, and it is arranged to keep service separate from guest areas while still allowing efficient access across the yacht.

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12 1900) 1,900hp engines running at 1200rpm, motor yacht Mastermind is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 18 knots. With her 9,002 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 500 nautical miles at an economic speed of 12 knots.
