More DetailsThe 122' motor yacht Short Story was delivered to her owners in 2016 by Taiwanese shipyard Horizon. Her interior design comes from the drawing boards of LUCA DINI Design & Architecture, while JC Espinosa is responsible for her exterior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 26'2" beam and a 7'6" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 299 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Accommodation
Short Story offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 2 VIP cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32A) 1,900hp engines, motor yacht Short Story is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 8,000 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,100 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

In addition, a generous beach club offers direct access to the ocean. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down.
