The 29.57m motor yacht Summer Wind was delivered to her owners in 2012 by Taiwanese shipyard Horizon. Her interior design comes from the drawing boards of Horizon, while John Lindblom is responsible for her exterior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.55m beam and a 1.37m draft.
Launched in March 2012 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2012.
Accommodation
Summer Wind offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin and 2 VIP cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 1,600hp engines, motor yacht Summer Wind is capable of reaching a top speed of 22 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down. Summer Wind also features an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
