The 35.5m motor yacht Sun was delivered to her owners in 2012 by Italian shipyard Arcadia. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Francesco Guida, while Arcadia is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and a composite superstructure she features a 7.33m beam and a 2.3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 266 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2010. This was the first yacht built on the A115 design. Launched in November 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2012.
Accommodation
Sun offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12 D2842LE443) 1,224hp engines, motor yacht Sun is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 14,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,700 nautical miles. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Sun also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
