Tamsen is an award winning 52.41m sail yacht for sale delivered by Italian shipyard Perini Navi in 2007. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Perini Navi, while Ron Holland Design is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a modified deep vee steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.3m beam and a 8.39m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 463 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2005. Launched in February 2006 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2007.
Accommodation
Tamsen offers accommodation for up to 15 guests in 5 suites. Additionally, there are 6 staff cabins aboard which can accommodate up to 13 members of the owners staff and security team. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 12-cylinder 1,100hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Tamsen is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 45,700 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,400 nautical miles.
