37m Benetti Classic 120 Superyacht Sea BlueZ Sold In-House

The 37m motor yacht Sea BlueZ has been sold in an in-house transaction at Camper & Nicholsons, with Maël Fiolet representing the seller and Arne Ploch representing the buyer.

Delivered in 2006 as the first hull in the Benetti Classic 120 series, she features exterior design by Stefano Righini, interiors by François Zuretti, and naval architecture developed by Benetti. The sale marks another chapter for a model that built upon the success of one of the Italian shipyard's most influential semi-custom ranges.

Sea BlueZ was launched as the first example of the Benetti Classic 120, a model developed as a larger evolution of the Benetti Classic 115. Between 1998 and 2006, the 35m Classic 115 saw 27 hulls delivered and helped establish Benetti's reputation in the semi-custom superyacht sector. Building on that success, the Classic 120 introduced greater volume, enhanced deck layouts, and improved cruising capability, becoming one of the yard's most successful production platforms and paving the way for later models such as the long-range B.Yond series and the award-winning B.Now range.

Inside, Sea BlueZ features a warm and welcoming interior by François Zuretti. Rich wood paneling, cream-toned furnishings, and subtle geometric detailing create a traditional superyacht atmosphere that has aged gracefully over the past two decades.

The main salon is arranged as a social gathering space with lounge seating, a sit-up bar, and a formal dining area for ten guests. A second salon on the upper deck provides additional entertaining space, complete with another bar, a games table, and a library corner. While modern yachts such as the 50m Benetti B.Now 50M Oasis prioritizes contemporary indoor-outdoor living, Sea BlueZ represents an earlier design era focused on comfortable, elegant interiors and clearly defined entertaining spaces, qualities that continue to appeal to owners and charter guests alike.

Stefano Righini's exterior design follows the classic Benetti styling that became a hallmark of the builder's fleet throughout the early 2000s. The upper aft deck serves as the yacht's primary al fresco dining area, centered around a circular dining table with substantial teak seating. Additional outdoor dining can be found on the main deck aft, creating multiple social spaces across the yacht.

The sundeck is one of Sea BlueZ's standout features. A raised spa pool sits at its center, surrounded by sunpads and flexible deck space that can accommodate additional loungers or fitness equipment. At sea level, a hydraulic transom door opens to create a generous swim platform while also providing access to the tender garage and watersports storage.

Although modest by comparison with the expansive beach clubs now found aboard models such as the 40m Benetti B.Yond Limited Edition, Sea BlueZ demonstrates how Benetti was already prioritizing guest access to the water long before such features became standard across the market.

Accommodation on board the motor yacht is arranged for up to ten guests across five ensuite cabins. The owner's suite occupies a forward position on the main deck and includes a walk-in wardrobe and a private bathroom fitted with a steam shower. Four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, comprising two VIP cabins and two twins, one with an additional Pullman berth.

Power comes from twin MTU diesel engines that deliver a cruising speed of 13.5 knots and a top speed of approximately 14 knots. Zero-speed stabilizers further enhance onboard comfort, whether cruising or at anchor. The yacht's commercial compliance and EU VAT-paid status broaden her appeal for both private ownership and charter use. Camper & Nicholsons has confirmed that Sea BlueZ will retain her name and continue operating within the charter market following the sale.
