Commissioned by an experienced Italian yacht owner, the Benetti Motopanfilo 45M will be the first in the series to feature a blue hull. Inspired by Benetti's Motopanfilo yachts of the 1960s, the new model features exterior styling by British studio RWD, interiors by Valentina Zannier and naval architecture developed by the Azimut|Benetti Group's R&D Department. Construction incorporates a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
The superyacht's interior design has been developed in close collaboration with the owner's wife, who has experience in interior design and played an active role in shaping the yacht's onboard atmosphere. According to Benetti, the project has been extensively customised to reflect the couple's preferences. A defining feature of the Motopanfilo 45M is Benetti's Veranda Deck®, which reinterprets the traditional main deck saloon as an expansive living space. By incorporating the side walkways into the interior footprint, the wide-body arrangement creates a larger communal area that opens on three sides, with extensive glazing bringing natural light into the space and providing uninterrupted views of the surrounding water.
The yacht's exterior revisits the proportions of Benetti's historic motor yachts, with a low profile, slanted windows and clean lines. Rectangular hull windows alternate with traditional round portholes, while flush detailing and large glazed surfaces introduce a contemporary appearance. Outdoor living centres on the aft deck, where the Veranda Deck opens towards an infinity pool and beach area, allowing guests to move between sheltered living spaces and the water. The owners have also worked closely with the design team to personalise the outdoor areas, although Benetti has not disclosed the individual modifications.
The Motopanfilo 45M accommodates up to ten guests across five cabins, including an owner's suite measuring more than 60 square metres. The yacht's 9.10m beam supports the accommodation arrangement, while the full-beam superstructure provides additional interior volume and natural light. Separate crew accommodation comprises five cabins for nine crew members, allowing guests and crew to occupy dedicated areas of the yacht.
The motor yacht features a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,100 nautical miles at 10 knots. With a draught of 2.45m and a full-load displacement of 430 tonnes, her naval architecture has been developed for efficient, comfortable long-range cruising. Engine specifications have not yet been disclosed.
