46m Delta Marine Explorer Yacht Zembra Launched

American shipyard Delta Marine has launched the 46m explorer yacht Zembra, moving the custom motor yacht from its high bay and into Seattle's Duwamish River.

Built for global cruising, underwater exploration and aerial adventures, and designed by Delta Design Group with interiors by Roger Thomas and Woogmaster Studio, Zembra will now continue outfitting ahead of her scheduled delivery in 2026.

Arizona bronze profile shapes a purpose-built explorer

The custom yacht has been built around a full-displacement GRP hull and superstructure. Her metallic Arizona bronze finish is contrasted by dark glazing and strong horizontal deck lines, while an upright bow creates additional volume forward. The tiered superstructure incorporates long overhangs for shade, with cut-down bulwarks opening sightlines towards the water.

Aircraft and submersible take exploration beyond the waterline

Zembra's explorer yacht credentials extend beyond long-distance cruising, with the yacht designed to support exploration above and below the water. A 3,500lb (1,588kg) boom crane on the bridge deck can deploy an Icon A5 amphibious aircraft, while the same system is capable of handling a three-person U-Boat Worx submersible for underwater excursions. A Williams Jet Tender supports shorter trips ashore, with the deck arrangement providing the working areas required to store, launch and recover the yacht's extensive exploration equipment.

Accessible accommodation supports extended stays onboard

The interior has been developed with significant owner input shaping spaces intended for extended periods onboard. Zembra accommodates 10 guests across five staterooms, including a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck and four guest cabins below. One lower-deck cabin is wheelchair accessible, while an elevator connects the decks to improve accessibility throughout the yacht. Accommodation is also provided for up to 10 crew.

Full-displacement platform developed for global cruising

The superyacht has an internal volume of 498GT, a 9.4m beam and a 3.1m draft. Constructed in compliance with Lloyd's Register technical standards, she has been engineered for transoceanic cruising and is fitted with Quantum zero-speed stabilisers to improve comfort at anchor. A 45-ton Dometic air-conditioning system supports operation in warmer climates, while the yacht's long-range platform reflects her intended role as a vessel for extended global travel.
