Delivered in 2011 and refitted in 2021, Mega Global III features exterior design and naval architecture by Benetti, with interiors by RWD and decor by Susan Young. The fully custom yacht has a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and an internal volume of 1,426GT.
The motor yacht's interior uses deep walnut cabinetry and dark joinery alongside pale grey seating, charcoal velvet upholstery, and marble and leather detailing. The main deck includes a dedicated cinema with a C-shaped sofa and 100-inch screen, as well as a library with a fireplace and dark marble surround. On the bridge deck, a further social space incorporates a bar, games area and seating. Buyers exploring more recent Benetti designs can also compare the B.Now 60M Oasis.
The yacht's cascading aft decks provide several spaces for outdoor dining and relaxation, with a raised pool, bar and seating on the sundeck and a separate observation deck positioned beneath the radar mast. At the stern, the beach club and bathing platform provide access to the water, while the nearby gym opens towards the sea through a shell door. The aft deck can also be used as a touch-and-go helipad, and the yacht has a 12.2m beam and 3.5m draft.
Accommodation onboard the custom yacht is arranged for up to 14 guests across seven cabins, comprising an owner's suite, a VIP suite, three doubles and two twins. The main-deck owner's suite includes a private sitting room or office, separate dressing areas and ensuite facilities with a bath and shower, while the VIP suite is positioned on the bridge deck. Separate accommodation is provided for up to 17 crew across nine cabins, including a captain's cabin.
Twin 2,252hp Caterpillar 3516B diesel engines give Mega Global III a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, while 160,000 litres of fuel capacity supports a stated range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement steel hull is paired with twin-screw propulsion and stabilisers. Buyers looking towards a faster production yacht within the Benetti portfolio can also compare the Fast 125.
Mega Global III, previously known as Seanna, was sold with Tommaso Chiabra and Camilla Maurizio of Royal Yacht International representing the seller, and James Clayton and Rachel Ma of Simpson Marine representing the buyer, at a last known asking price of €44,000,000.
