Spread across the Vieux Port and Port Canto, this year’s edition currently welcomes 119 superyachts, including just over 100 world debuts, speaking to the event’s reputation as a launchpad for both shipyards and designers.
By the Numbers: Sales and Debuts at Cannes
Alongside the excitement of first unveilings, Cannes is also a major marketplace. Of the yachts attending this year, 70 are presently listed for sale, representing a combined value of $879 million. The average asking price now stands at $12.6 million, with an average length of 33.8 meters and an average age of 6.6 years.

This gives buyers and brokers a clear spread of options, from nearly new builds delivered in 2024 and 2025, through to refit projects that showcase refreshed interiors and upgraded systems. At present, 73 of the yachts on display are new deliveries, while 7 are refit presentations. With 628 crew across the show and the largest yacht crew numbering 13, the docks offer a clear picture of both new-market energy and brokerage depth.

For buyers, it is one of the few occasions to compare new designs with brokerage motor yachts of similar size, style, and price bracket on the same docks, offering not only a showcase of design but also a tangible picture of market trends and real-world values.
Global Launches: Major Models Revealed in Cannes
Beyond the brokerage fleet, Cannes is defined by its premieres. Larger models making their first appearance include several high-profile launches in the 40–50 meter range.
Among the largest debuts is the 47m Cantiere delle Marche RJ 155, the new flagship of the RJ line. With steel construction, a 4,000-nautical-mile range, and accommodation for 12, it integrates oceangoing strength with elegant detailing such as shaded terraces and long deck overhangs.

Benetti presents the 44m Benetti Class 44M, the biggest fiberglass yacht in its Class range. Giorgio Maria Cassetta’s clean exterior styling pairs with light-filled interiors that use FSC-certified woods, reflecting Benetti’s focus on sustainable design. Five staterooms provide space for ten guests.

Columbus Yachts and Sanlorenzo are also represented with significant premieres. The 42m Columbus Crossover 42 brings explorer-style steel construction and long-range autonomy in a compact package, while the 40.7-meter Sanlorenzo SD132 offers 420 GT of volume, an asymmetrical layout, and a 70-square-meter fold-down beach club.

The variety extends all the way down to compact launches. Riva is unveiling the 12m Riva Cento, a planing GRP dayboat reaching 40 knots, alongside the 10m Aquariva Special, a classic-styled runabout for two guests. Beneteau brings the new Beneteau Swift Trawler 37 Fly, an 11m flybridge cruiser with two cabins and long-weekend range, and the Beneteau Gran Turismo 35 Mk2, a 41-knot sports cruiser with fold-down balconies and a modular cockpit. These smaller yachts underline the festival’s dual role as both a superyacht event and a major stage for high-end production yachts.
Key Brokerage Superyachts on Display
Among the largest brokerage yachts at the show is the 55-meter superyacht After You by Heesen, built in 2011 and refitted in 2022. With exteriors by Omega Architects and interiors by Ken Freivokh, she features a glass guest elevator, main-deck pool with privacy waterfall, and accommodation for 12 guests. After You is listed for sale on YachtBuyer and is currently asking €32.5 million.

From Turkey, Bilgin Yachts brings the 47.5-meter Starburst III, known for her glass-bottom Jacuzzi and iPad-controlled interior systems by H2 Yacht Design. Delivered in 2017 and refitted in 2019, she accommodates 10 guests across five suites - Starburst III is also listed for sale on YachtBuyer and is asking €20.9 million.

Also drawing attention is the 49.9-meter Tankoa Kinda, delivered in 2022. Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, she carries a hybrid propulsion system that enables quiet cruising under battery power. Kinda’s layout includes a main-deck master suite, a 5,000-liter foredeck pool, and a beach club connected to a side-loading tender garage. She is currently for sale at €34 million.
An Industry Benchmark
As the docks fill and sea trials get underway, Cannes 2025 is currently shaping up as one of the most dynamic editions in recent years. With over 100 debuts, a strong brokerage presence, and an average asking price above $12 million per yacht, the festival continues to set the tone for the Mediterranean season. Shipyards including Benetti, Sanlorenzo, Cantiere delle Marche, Columbus, Tankoa, and Riva are all unveiling new models, while established builders such as Heesen and Bilgin add weight to the brokerage lineup.

YachtBuyer will be covering the show throughout the week, stepping aboard the standout premieres and providing deeper insights into the brokerage yachts currently on the market.
