First 52m Bilgin 170 Superyacht Tamasha Delivered With Custom Brown Hull

Bilgin Yachts has delivered the 52m superyacht Tamasha to her owner and is now set to begin her maiden season in the Mediterranean.

Launched in October 2025, Tamasha marks the first handover from the Bilgin 170 series and is expected to spend her first season in the Aegean.

The First Bilgin 170 Hits the Water

Built as hull NB82, Tamasha introduces Bilgin’s 52m series as a sub-500GT displacement platform aimed at extended cruising, owner-led customization, and generous onboard living.

The yacht features exterior design and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design, with interiors by Hot Lab. Her profile is defined by a stronger bow, a sporty silhouette, and a distinctive light brown hull - a first for Bilgin Yachts.

Her distinctive light brown hull was chosen to create a stunning, organic harmony with the water. Every line and space was designed in direct response to the owner's lifestyle, prioritizing expansive areas for entertainment and socializing, and ensuring that life onboard is intimately connected to the sea.

That hull color has become one of Tamasha’s clearest visual signatures. Rather than following a more conventional white or dark blue finish, the yacht adopts a warmer tone intended to sit naturally against the water and give the vessel a more personal identity.

Built Around the Owner’s Lifestyle

Tamasha was developed around a brief that placed strong emphasis on sociability, comfort, and a close relationship with the sea. According to Unique Yacht Design, the yacht was shaped as both a personal statement and a social hub, with large guest areas designed for entertaining as well as quieter time onboard.

That focus is carried across the superyacht’s interior and exterior arrangement. The layout prioritizes generous indoor and outdoor guest spaces, with circulation designed to support relaxed movement between social areas. The result is a yacht intended for long days at anchor, open-air dining, and extended Mediterranean cruising rather than short, formal use.

Inside, Hot Lab has created a contemporary interior shaped by volume, light, and calm detailing. While full interior imagery has not yet been released by the yard, Bilgin describes the spaces as elegant and expansive, with natural light playing a central role in the onboard atmosphere.

Six Staterooms Across a Sub-500GT Platform

Tamasha accommodates up to 12 guests across six staterooms, placing her firmly within the expectations of the 50m superyacht sector while remaining below the 500 gross ton threshold. Her 9.25m beam supports substantial guest areas without pushing the yacht beyond the sub-500GT category, a segment that remains attractive for owners seeking a large-yacht experience with a more contained operational profile.

The yacht’s social brief is central to her appeal. Rather than presenting Tamasha as a purely design-led project, Bilgin has positioned the yacht around how she will be used. The focus is on outdoor living, guest comfort, and spaces that can move easily between family use and larger gatherings.

Designed for Efficient Long-Range Travel

Performance figures support long-range cruising. The motor yacht has a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 16 knots, with an estimated range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles at cruising speed and half load. Fuel capacity is listed at 55,000 liters, with water capacity of 11,000 liters.

Tamasha is built with a steel displacement hull and aluminum superstructure. At full load, she has a displacement of 495 tonnes and a draft of 2.60m. These figures place Tamasha in a practical cruising category for Mediterranean and longer-distance itineraries. Her range gives the owner flexibility beyond seasonal coastal use, while her displacement hull form supports efficient passage-making.

Rising Demand for Bilgin’s Mid-Size Platforms

Tamasha’s delivery comes during a busy period for Bilgin Yachts. According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, Bilgin currently has 14 yachts either in build or on order.

The yard's 82m flagship, Project Bond, was sold at the 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show

Recent activity includes the sale of the 82m flagship Project Bond at the 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show, the sale of the second 53m Bilgin 173 II hull NB90, and continuing interest in the 52m Bilgin 170 series. Bilgin has stated that seven yachts are now connected to the 52m platform, with further project details expected to be announced later.

The yard’s recent launches and sales also show a broadening portfolio. At the upper end, Project Bond signals Bilgin’s move into larger custom construction, while the 80m Al Reem marked the final delivery of the Bilgin 263 in a prominent trilogy that included Tatiana and Leona. In the sub-500GT sector, the Bilgin 170 and Bilgin 173 II platforms point to a more repeatable, owner-adapted approach.

With her first season now ahead, Tamasha will give the Bilgin 170 platform its first real-world presence on the Mediterranean cruising circuit.
