VIDEO: First Look Inside Riva's 54Metri Flagship Superyacht Sairu

Riva has released the first interior images and full details of its new 54m superyacht Sauri, offering a glimpse into her refined, contemporary, and richly detailed interior.

The flagship Riva 54Metri was delivered earlier this year and was designed by Officina Italiana Design in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department.

With a 9m beam and gross tonnage of 499GT, Sairu delivers larger-yacht space while staying under 500GT. Finished in Moon Grey, London Grey and Bright Black, her sharp profile features polished steel, dark glazing and fold-out aft terraces across two levels.

A Flagship Interior in Teak, Marble and Leather

The main deck interior is arranged around a large salon entered through an electrically operated sliding glass door from the cockpit. The space is divided into an aft lounge and a forward dining area, with material changes across the floors and ceilings used to define each zone.

Natural teak, Sahara Noir marble, Bianco Rhino marble, leather and polished steel form the core of the interior palette of the yacht. In the lounge, a large L-shaped sofa is paired with white leather armchairs and a central pouf, while full-height storage units with marble-lined niches frame the entrance.

Forward, the dining area seats 10 guests around a table with a Sahara Noir marble top, positioned on a Bianco Rhino marble platform and lit by a crystal chandelier. A 65-inch television is concealed in the ceiling and lowers into position when required, allowing the room to retain a clean architectural finish when not in use.

A Full-Beam Owner’s Suite Forward

The superyacht accommodates up to 10 guests in five cabins, including a forward main-deck owner’s suite and four below. The full-beam master features a private office, king-size bed, concealed TV, opening hull windows, twin walk-in wardrobes and a marble bathroom with hydro-massage shower and twin basins.

On the lower deck, two VIP cabins and two guest cabins all feature double beds and en suite bathrooms, with one convertible to a twin for added flexibility. The same material palette continues throughout, with leather bed frames, pale carpeting, teak detailing and televisions concealed behind mirrored surfaces.

Skylounge, Sundeck and Bow Lounge

The upper deck is arranged as one of Sairu’s main social areas, with an enclosed skylounge, aft lounge seating and open-air dining for 10 guests. Fixed side windscreens provide shelter around the dining area, while walkways run along the deck to connect the aft terrace, lobby and forward lounge.

Forward of the wheelhouse, the bow area serves a dual role. It offers lounge seating for guests, while large side sofas can be raised to reveal storage for a Williams 625 tender, two Jet Skis and other water toys. Launching is handled by a built-in crane integrated into the navigation mast.

The sundeck covers more than 100 square meters and is divided into three zones. A Jacuzzi and custom sunpads sit aft, a lounge with two L-shaped sofas occupies the center, and the forward section includes an American bar and dining area for 10 beneath the hardtop. A rotating 55-inch television is concealed within the dining storage unit.

Beach Club and Fold-Out Terraces

A key feature of the Riva 54Metri is the stern beach area, accessed via a transformer platform. The lower-deck beach club measures 42.5 square meters before the side terraces are opened. Once deployed, the fold-out sections add a further 20 square meters, taking the total area beyond 60 square meters.

At the center is a four-by-two-meter freshwater pool finished in white ceramic tiles. The pool is heated and can remain full while the motor yacht is underway, avoiding the need to drain it for short passages. Sunpads sit on either side, while a semi-automatic awning provides shade when needed.

A tinted glass-enclosed gym sits forward of the beach club, equipped with an exercise bike, treadmill, day head and storage. From here, there is direct access to the engine room. Six steps lead up to the 45-square-meter cockpit on the main deck, which is arranged with a forward-facing sofa, chaise longues, freestanding armchairs and an American bar with a fridge, ice maker and sink.

Power comes from twin MTU 12V2000 M96L engines producing 1,432 kW each. The yacht reaches a top speed of 18 knots and has a range of around 3,600 nautical miles at 11 knots.
