Pearl 63 Set for UK Debut at Two May Boat Shows

Pearl Yachts is preparing to introduce the Pearl 63 to the British market for the first time with a double appearance at two key UK boat shows this May.

Following its global debut at the Palma International Boat Show, the yacht will make its first UK appearance at the South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show (9–11 May) at Ocean Village Marina in Southampton, and again at the British Motor Yacht Show (15–18 May) at Swanwick Marina.

Evolving the Pearl Design Ethos

Unveiled at the 2025 Palma International Boat Show, the Pearl 63 is the latest evolution of the shipyard’s design approach, building on the success of the Pearl 62. At just over 60 feet, it’s aimed at owner-operators and families, with an emphasis on usable space, comfort, and handling.

Inside the motor yacht, the saloon features a redesigned layout with a family-sized dining table and updated seating arrangements, including a forward chaise longue and multifunctional poufs that can be pulled out or tucked away as needed.

The L-shaped sofa includes a reversible backrest, transforming the space into a lounge facing the sea.

A Smart Use of Space Throughout

The aft section offers a flexible setup: owners can choose between a tender garage large enough for a Williams MiniJet 280 or Seadoo Spark, or opt to configure the space as a crew cabin. A hi-lo bathing platform further supports on-the-water activity.

Accommodation is spread across four cabins with berths for up to eight guests. A standout feature in this size range is the full-beam owner’s suite, accessed via a private staircase and fitted with panoramic hull windows and twin wardrobes.

There is also a large en-suite bathroom featuring a Corian sink unit and full-height shower.

Performance and Presentation

For buyers seeking additional performance, the Pearl 63 is available with upgraded twin Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines, giving a top speed of up to 33 knots.

Iain Smallridge, Managing Director of Pearl Yachts, noted the significance of the upcoming appearances: "These shows may be more intimate than their international counterparts, but they are no less important. The South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show gives us a fresh platform to present Pearl’s sustainability conscious design thinking, while the British Motor Yacht Show remains a benchmark for luxury motor yachts in the UK.”

Other Show Debuts at the British Motor Yacht Show

The British Motor Yacht Show will also see the UK show debut of two additional sportscruisers: the Bavaria SR35 HT and the Sunseeker Predator 55.

The Bavaria SR35 HT, previously known as the SR33, is the entry-level model in Bavaria’s SR-Line. At 11.4 meters, it offers an open-plan interior, a separate mid-cabin, and a choice of engine options delivering speeds above 30 knots. Designed by Marco Casali and Too Design, it’s positioned as a versatile weekender with enough comfort for longer stays.

With a sleek, 17.15-meter hull and a top speed of 36 knots, it balances performance with accommodation for up to six guests across two or three cabins. It arrives in Swanwick following strong recognition on the award circuit, including nominations for design and performance.
