Developed by Saxdor as the open member of its 460 flagship family, the new model sits alongside the enclosed Saxdor 460 GTC and will make its public debut at Port Canto on September 8. The latest information gives buyers a much clearer picture of how the GTS differs from its sister model beyond the absence of a conventional enclosed wheelhouse.
A More Open Take on the 460 Flagship
First announced in July 2026, the Saxdor 460 GTS uses the same underlying platform as the 460 GTC but places far greater emphasis on an open main deck.
The GTC established Saxdor's 14.4m flagship platform earlier this year with an enclosed wheelhouse capable of opening along its sides and aft end. The GTS takes that principle further, retaining a walkaround arrangement while reducing the physical separation between the helm, social areas and open deck.

A raised passage along the starboard side of the helm provides a direct route between the bow and stern. Saxdor says the change gives the GTS a more practical walkaround layout while leaving additional usable space around the main seating area. The GTS boat measures 14.4m in length with a 4.1m beam and a draft of 0.8m excluding the engines. Saxdor lists capacity for up to 15 people.
Fold-Down Sides Create More Space at Anchor
Large fold-down side terraces remain one of the defining features of the 460 platform. When lowered at anchor, they extend the deck across the yacht's full beam and place the main entertaining space directly beside the water.
The aft section of the motor yacht centers on a large sunpad, while the main social area can be specified with an optional sliding center sofa. Its position can be changed for dining or set up as elevated, forward-facing seating when the boat is underway.
The arrangement provides several distinct uses without requiring separate dedicated areas for every activity, an important consideration on a boat of this length. Open circulation from the aft deck toward the helm also gives guests more freedom to move around when the terraces are deployed.
Open When Wanted, Sheltered When Needed
Weather protection is one of the biggest new details released ahead of Cannes. Owners can specify four sliding glass doors, an aft enclosure and a retractable roof. With the panels closed, the cockpit and helm gain considerably more shelter at speed or in poor weather. Opening the doors and roof restores the open arrangement that defines the GTS.
The solution places the model between a conventional open sportsboat and the fully enclosed 460 GTC. Buyers in warmer cruising regions can leave the deck largely exposed, while owners operating in more changeable climates have additional protection available when required.
Three newly developed helm seats can rotate through 360 degrees, allowing the driving position to serve the social area when the boat is stationary. Up to three 16-inch Simrad displays can be installed at the helm.
Three Cabins Extend Its Weekending Role
Below deck, Saxdor has confirmed accommodation for up to three cabins, taking much of the underlying arrangement from the 460 GTC. The forward cabin gains a separate shower, while the aft cabin can be specified with its own head. USB-C charging points and AC outlets are fitted within the accommodation, alongside upgraded materials and greater attention to finishing details compared with smaller models in the Saxdor range.
The three-cabin option increases the GTS's relevance for owners who intend to spend more than a single day aboard. YachtBuyer currently lists accommodation for up to six guests depending on configuration. Saxdor has already demonstrated demand for the broader 460 platform. The enclosed 460 GTC won the Motoryacht 14-16m category at the Yacht Style Awards 2026, following its debut at boot Düsseldorf earlier in the year.
Performance specifications place the 460 GTS firmly in the high-speed open-cruising market, with its vacuum-infused GRP structure, twin-stepped 20.5-degree V hull and outboard options ranging from triple 300hp Mercury Verado V8s to three 425hp Verado V10s. Total output spans 900hp to 1,275hp, delivering speeds of 45 to 55 knots, while the latest factory figures confirm 1,375 liters of fuel capacity, 265 liters of fresh water and an 81-liter grey-water tank.
Saxdor 460 GTS Heads to Cannes
The Saxdor 460 GTS will make its world premiere on the opening day of the Cannes Yachting Festival, which runs from September 8-13, 2026.
The public debut will also provide the first chance to assess whether the GTS's optional glazing and enclosures can provide meaningful protection while retaining the character of an open boat. With its 55-knot maximum speed, three-cabin option and significantly expanded deck space at anchor, the 460 GTS now has a clearer position within Saxdor's flagship family than when the model was initially announced.
