The two Saxdor models give visitors a choice between an enclosed wheelhouse and a more open walkaround layout. The GTC made its world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf, where YachtBuyer stepped aboard for an on-board review. The GTS followed with its world premiere at Cannes.
Saxdor 460 GTC: an enclosed wheelhouse that opens up
The GTC’s full-beam wheelhouse offers shelter around the helm, galley and seating area. Sliding glass doors, an opening roof and fold-down side terraces allow the main deck to open to the cockpit and water. In its review, YachtBuyer also noted how the aft window drops down alongside the sliding door, clearing the space between the saloon and cockpit.
Saxdor 460 GTS: a more open deck
Built on the same platform, the GTS has a walkaround layout with a raised starboard passage to the foredeck. Its side terraces fold down at anchor, while an aft sunbed and cockpit seating provide places to relax outside. Buyers can specify sliding glass doors and other protection around the cockpit for more shelter.
Accommodation below deck
The GTC has a forward cabin, a twin cabin amidships and a bathroom with a separate shower. An optional aft cabin increases its accommodation to three cabins. Saxdor also describes a three-cabin layout for the GTS, with a separate shower forward and a head serving the aft cabin.
Speeds of up to 55 knots
Both yachts use outboard power and twin-stepped V-hulls. The 460 GTC is offered with three Mercury outboards: 300hp V8, 350hp V10 or 425hp V10 engines. Saxdor quotes a top speed of up to 50 knots. The 460 GTS is also powered by triple Mercury outboards, with speeds of up to 55 knots for the model. The builder lists fuel capacities of 1,330 litres for the GTC and 1,375 litres for the GTS.

Saxdor also lists the 400 GTS and 320 GTO for display. Visitors can compare those boats with both versions of the larger 460 during the show.
