First 36m Sirena 118 Superyacht Progresses Toward 2026 Delivery

Sirena Yachts has confirmed steady progress on the first 36m Sirena 118 superyacht, with construction now entering an advanced outfitting and systems installation phase at the yard’s Yalova facility in Turkey.

Scheduled for launch and delivery in 2026, the Sirena 118 represents the builder’s largest GRP yacht to date and the opening model in its larger-size composite lineup.

Designed in-house by Sirena Yachts with naval architecture by Germán Frers and interiors by Cor D. Rover, the Sirena 118 builds on the platform first revealed through interior renderings in mid-2025, marking a clear step forward from concept to physical execution.

Build Progress of the first Sirena 118

According to the latest update, the yacht has moved beyond structural construction and into coordinated outfitting across interior, exterior, and technical systems. Lower-deck furniture production has now been completed, with onboard assembly scheduled to follow as the build sequence advances.

At the same time, systems installation is progressing throughout the lower deck, including insulation, piping, plumbing, cable routing, panel placement, and technical equipment fit-out. These works signal a transition into the more complex stages of construction, where mechanical, electrical, and interior elements are integrated in parallel rather than sequentially.

As the first Sirena 118 continues to take shape, we are proud to see the design vision materialising across every area of the build."

Externally, the motor yacht is also taking on a more complete form. Sliding glass doors have been installed, teak decking production continues, and surface preparation for paint is underway ahead of final application. Together, these steps place the Sirena 118 firmly in the mid-to-late construction phase, with engine installation, final paint, interior joinery, launch, and sea trials still to come.

From Renderings to Reality

When Sirena Yachts released the first interior renderings of the Sirena 118 in June 2025, the superyacht was positioned as a strategic expansion into the sub-300GT superyacht category. At the time, the emphasis was on layout flexibility, interior volume, and long-range cruising efficiency rather than headline size or speed.

That design intent now appears to be translating directly into the build. Measuring 36 meters and remaining under 300 gross tons, the Sirena 118 is configured across three decks with an emphasis on usable space rather than formal compartmentalization. The main deck owner’s stateroom sits forward, separated from guest accommodation for increased privacy, while up to six guest cabins can be arranged across the lower deck, including a full-beam VIP.

One of the model’s defining options is its two-deck owner “loft” configuration, which introduces a private internal spiral staircase linking the main-deck suite to a lower-level retreat close to the water. This arrangement, uncommon in this size bracket, is intended to give owners a more personal relationship with the yacht’s lower deck spaces without compromising guest circulation.

Interior design by Cor D. Rover was conceived from the outset as a flexible framework rather than a fixed aesthetic. Early renderings showed light wood finishes, cream upholstery, bronze detailing, and layered lighting designed to adapt to different moods throughout the day.

Engineering and Performance Profile

Naval architecture by Germán Frers centers on a fast-displacement hull form developed for efficiency across a wide speed range. In standard configuration, the Sirena 118 is powered by twin MAN V12 engines delivering a top speed of 16 knots, with an efficient cruising speed around 11 knots.

An optional upgraded power package raises output to approximately 3,800 horsepower, increasing top speed to around 21 knots. The focus, however, remains on fuel efficiency, range, and predictable handling rather than outright performance.

This approach aligns with Sirena’s broader design philosophy, already seen in its smaller models, where long-distance capability and manageable operation are prioritized over maximum speed.

The second Sirena 118 superyacht is currently on the market with OCEAN Independence and is asking €15,500,000.

A Growing Superyacht Order Book for Sirena Yachts

According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the word, the Sirena 118 forms part of a four-yacht order book. Alongside the first Sirena 118 now in advanced outfitting, the lineup includes additional large composite projects currently under construction or in planning, underscoring sustained demand for the yard’s semi-custom platforms.

Central to that forward pipeline is the Sirena 42M, the builder’s first entry into the 40-meter-plus category. Now in the painting phase at Sirena’s Bursa facility, the 42M has reached an advanced stage of build, with hull and superstructure nearing completion, engines installed, and interior joinery progressing in parallel. The yacht remains on track for launch and sea trials in mid-2026.

With outfitting now well underway in Yalova, the Sirena 118 is progressing steadily toward her planned 2026 launch as Sirena Yachts’ largest GRP project to date.
