Sunseeker 134 Superyacht Set for March 2026 Keel Laying Following Cannes Reveal

Sunseeker has confirmed that construction of the first 40m Sunseeker 134 superyacht will officially begin in March 2026, with the keel scheduled to be laid following the model’s public presentation at boot Düsseldorf 2026.

First revealed at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, the Sunseeker 134 Superyacht represents a new flagship concept for the British builder, with two hulls already sold ahead of construction.

Positioned above the Sunseeker’s Superyacht range, the 134 extends the brand’s established design direction while pushing further in terms of volume, exterior usability, and onboard flexibility. With a gross tonnage of 340 GT, the model sits firmly within the competitive 40-meter segment, targeting owners seeking generous living space without moving into much larger tonnage brackets.

A New 40m Flagship Takes Shape

The Sunseeker 134 carries a long, assertive profile defined by expansive hull glazing and sculpted superstructure lines. The exterior design and naval architecture are both handled in-house by Sunseeker, reinforcing a cohesive design language that remains instantly recognizable.

The visual emphasis is placed on horizontal flow and openness, with glazing extending deep into the hull sides to draw light into the lower deck accommodation. An extended hardtop crowns the superstructure, visually lengthening the yacht while also providing additional shelter for exterior living areas.

Deck layouts have been developed around outdoor use, with clear separation between social zones and operational spaces. The aft cockpit, flybridge, and upper terrace are all proportioned to support long periods at anchor, with furniture and circulation designed to suit both relaxed cruising and larger gatherings.

A Redesigned Beach-Level Experience

One of the most distinctive features of the Sunseeker 134 is the redesigned aft lower deck. Here, the yard has pushed the bathing platform further aft, creating a larger connection with the water and freeing up space for lounge seating directly at sea level.

This area on board the superyacht is intended to function as a private retreat rather than a purely functional beach club, offering a sheltered environment close to the water. The arrangement suits swimming, tender boarding, or quiet use away from the main social decks, depending on owner preference.

Above, the flybridge can be configured with either a spa tub or a secondary helm station, reinforcing the model’s focus on choice rather than fixed layouts. This flexibility allows owners to prioritize relaxation or hands-on cruising depending on how they plan to use the yacht.

Modern Interiors

Interiors for the Sunseeker 134 are developed by Design Unlimited, with a focus on light-filled spaces and modern detailing. Large windows, clean architectural lines, and neutral materials set the baseline, while owners are given wide scope to tailor finishes, furnishings, and decorative elements.

The main saloon is arranged to support both formal dining and relaxed lounging, with natural light playing a central role in defining the atmosphere. Sightlines remain open, reinforcing a sense of volume that is often difficult to achieve within this size range.

On the upper deck, a secondary saloon provides an additional interior living area, suited to evening use or more private gatherings. This layered approach to interior spaces allows guests to spread out without feeling disconnected from one another.

Five-Cabin Layout With Main Deck Owner Suite

The owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck, benefiting from separation from guest traffic and direct access to the motor yacht’s primary living areas. The suite is notable for its scale, with full-height windows and the option for a his-and-hers en-suite bathroom arrangement.

Below, the lower deck accommodates four guest cabins, bringing total guest capacity to ten across five staterooms. Cabin layouts prioritize comfort and privacy, supported by the generous beam carried well forward in the hull.

The Sunseeker 134 is equipped with an advanced tender launch system capable of housing a Williams 565 tender alongside two Jet Skis. The system is engineered for efficient deployment, reducing turnaround time between cruising and water-based activities. Standard propulsion comes from twin MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines, with an option to upgrade to twin MTU 16V 2000 M97L units from MTU. In upgraded form, the yacht is projected to reach a top speed of 20 knots, with a range of approximately 1,200 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Environmental considerations have also been addressed within the technical package. An optional exhaust after-treatment system supports cleaner operation, while shaft-driven propulsion emphasizes reliability and efficiency over long distances.

Sunseeker Order Book Strength Led by Proven Production Models

With 32 yachts currently in build or on order, according to YachtBuyer MarketWatch - the largest yacht database in the world - Sunseeker’s order book points to sustained demand across its core production range. Sitting highest within that pipeline are three models that continue to attract repeat interest: the 82 Ocean Enclosed, the 90 Ocean, and the 100 Yacht.

The Sunseeker 82 Ocean Enclosed leads on volume, reflecting demand for enclosed upper deck living and its penthouse-style saloon with panoramic glazing.

Above it, the 90 Ocean strengthens Sunseeker’s position in the crossover space between flybridge yacht and compact superyacht, with its waterside terrace, high-volume interior, and the option of an enclosed upper deck that reshapes the main deck layout. At the top of this group, the 100 Yacht has established itself as a modern tri-deck benchmark, defined by its linked bow-to-stern top deck, X-TEND transom system, and main deck owner’s suite with private bow terrace.

Both the 90 Ocean and 100 Yacht have been independently reviewed by YachtBuyer, earning strong 4.5-star scores that place them just shy of the YachtBuyer Hall of Fame threshold. With construction set to begin in March 2026, the Sunseeker 134 marks a clear next step in the builder’s move upmarket, reinforcing its confidence in the 40m flagship segment. Backed by early sales and a strong wider order book, the model underlines Sunseeker’s continued momentum across both established and emerging superyacht platforms.
