Following her official debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, RJ represents the largest vessel ever built by the Italian yard and the crown jewel of the Cantiere delle Marche RJ 155 series.
RJ was designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design with interiors by Achille Salvagni and naval architecture by Hydro Tec’s Pierluigi Ausonio. She builds on the success of the owner’s previous model, the Cantiere Delle Marche RJ130, evolving the concept into a larger, more capable, and more refined expression of CdM’s explorer DNA.
A Bold Silhouette with Explorer Character
Paszkowski’s exterior styling gives RJ a confident, forward-leaning stance, anchored by an angled rake bow and bold, sculpted window cutouts that convey strength and motion. Tiered deck overhangs add balance and a hint of classicism, while the sharply drawn superstructure keeps the profile sleek and dynamic.

Being entrusted for the second time by such an experienced yachtsman is a source of great pride for our shipyard, and everyone has worked tirelessly to ensure the owners enjoyed their new yacht as scheduled in Summer 2025.”

Floor-to-ceiling glazing floods the interiors with natural light and connects guests to the sea. Wide decks across all levels emphasize outdoor living, from the expansive aft verandas to the upper deck fore section where the tender is stored and launched by jib crane - a first for the Cantiere delle Marche RJ range.

Paszkowski explained, “The goal was to build on the DNA of the range while offering greater volume and functionality. We wanted a yacht that brings together the high comfort of a luxury vessel and the go-anywhere capability of an explorer.”

The yacht’s enclosed beach club sits at water level with an integrated swim platform, creating a tranquil space for leisure and sea access. Above, a tall, technically detailed mast adds a note of authority, signaling the vessel’s expedition-grade engineering.
Salvagni’s “Soft Minimalism”
Inside the superyacht, Achille Salvagni’s design philosophy transforms RJ into a calm, contemplative retreat. Described by the designer as “soft minimalism,” the interior balances warmth and restraint through curved lines, natural materials, and subtle organic details inspired by coral and marine life.

Light koto wood and Rosa Portogallo marble, finished in a peach-skin texture, define the palette. Sculptural forms appear throughout, while the main salon ceiling evokes the rippling pattern of water. The result is an atmosphere of serenity that contrasts with the yacht’s muscular exterior.

“The owners wanted interiors that express cultural depth without being cold,” said Salvagni. “Every surface needed to feel essential yet emotionally resonant. We aimed for a sense of harmony and calm that complements the yacht’s strength.”
Life Onboard: Space, Light, and Comfort
RJ spans three decks plus a sundeck and maintains a gross tonnage just below 500GT. She accommodates 10 guests across five staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite forward on the main deck with a large private gym. Four double cabins are positioned on the lower deck, served by a crew of nine across five cabins.

Expansive social areas on each deck create a sense of openness and connection to the sea. The large main salon on board the motor yacht flows into the dining area through curved transitions and natural materials, while outdoor lounges provide generous seating and dining options across decks.
An Owner’s Journey Toward the Ultimate Explorer
The owners’ journey with CdM began with the 40-meter RJ 130, delivered in 2021. Their satisfaction with that yacht’s stability, efficiency, and silence at sea led them to commission the larger RJ 155.
“The enthusiasm we felt onboard the RJ 130 made us decide to grow once again,” they said. “We wanted to take the same Elegant Explorer philosophy to the next level in performance, comfort, and customization.”

Among their key requests were more spacious guest areas, enhanced privacy, increased autonomy, and greater energy efficiency. The superyacht includes extensive cold storage for provisioning during long expeditions, a potable water purification system to reduce plastic use, and advanced waste treatment with vacuum and refrigeration systems for extended cruising away from port.
Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, RJ has been engineered for global navigation with a focus on comfort and low noise levels. Twin Caterpillar C32 engines deliver 895 kW each, reaching a top speed of 15 knots and a range of over 5,000 nautical miles at 9–10 knots.

With RJ, CdM has taken its proven explorer platform to a new level, scaling up the RJ concept without losing the balance between elegance and expedition capability. The result is a yacht that looks powerful, feels peaceful, and functions as a true long-range explorer built for modern voyaging.
