On Deck

The Bering 77’s exterior is laid out for serious bluewater cruising with a focus on utility, safety, and flexible use of space. At the stern, a large fixed swim platform serves multiple roles - from beach club to fishing station - and is intentionally kept clear of a tender for safety in following seas. Fold-down cleats, a cable master, transom shower, indirect lighting, and a Besenzoni ladder that doubles as a passerelle are all fitted as standard.

The railing height is compliant with international standards but feels unusually secure without being too restrictive. Recessed cleats and stainless steel backing plates prevent rust streaks and injuries, and side gates on both main and upper decks simplify boarding in regions with significant tidal shifts.

Forward, the anchoring gear matches the spec of much larger yachts, with 200m of chain per side and a 168kg anchor, both rinsed via salt and freshwater. The foredeck also houses fuel intake points and overflow reservoirs integrated into the bulwarks - preventing spills from reaching the deck or ocean. There’s ample storage below the seating area, and the escape hatch from the guest cabins is cleverly tucked belowdeck seating, meeting safety regulations with minimal intrusion.

Up on the boat deck, the space is left as a clean, multipurpose zone. With the tender launched using the 794 kg-capacity Steelhead Marine crane, the whole area transforms into an entertainment or lounging platform - capable of hosting furniture, sun loungers, or even a car. The flybridge above includes two dining tables that can be linked to seat up to 12, and observation chairs (custom-selected Libroc models) were installed at the owner's request for family wildlife watching.

The solar-panel hardtop is smartly designed - seven flush-mounted panels are ventilated via breathable mesh, avoiding the need for raised mounts while allowing heat dissipation. Lighting across the decks is discreet, dimmable, and low-draw, preserving both atmosphere and battery life. The outdoor kitchen includes dual hot plates, sinks, refrigeration, and extensive cabinetry, giving guests a fully functional second galley outdoors.

On this model, there’s no standard helm on the flybridge, but the entire yacht can be controlled remotely via screens, phones, or tablets. The design supports full pilot house operation, but leaves open the option for remote control or the addition of a secondary helm.

A sauna and an oversized shower, both accessed via heavy-duty water-tight doors, for an unexpected wellness touch to the upper deck - more superyacht than expedition cruiser.

Interior Accommodation

Inside, the Bering 77 has warm, inviting interiors. The salon is finished in oak with a clear, superyacht-style coating that mimics exterior-grade paint - it’s polishable, durable, and designed to last. There's generous natural light, blackout blinds, and a wide dining table on tracks that can slide inward when fewer guests are aboard.

Storage is exceptional, with deep cabinetry, display shelving, and dedicated lockers for glassware, crockery, and bottles. A pop-up TV is installed to starboard, and a wine fridge and bar service area make the salon suitable for both casual evenings and formal entertaining. All lighting is dimmable and unobtrusive.

The galley is fully equipped for liveaboard or charter use, with residential-sized Miele appliances, deep drawers, a trash compactor, dishwasher, and extensive cold storage - including full-height fridge and freezer, plus a powerful 18kg/day ice maker. Custom Bering-branded crockery, cutlery, and glassware are delivered as standard, making the yacht turnkey-ready on delivery.

Sockets are dual-type and compatible with multiple plug systems, designed for global cruising. Storage is generous throughout, and the layout allows the galley to function as a social hub without disturbing the pilot house. A quiet separation can be achieved via thick pocket doors when privacy is needed.

Forward in the pilot house, the seating area can double as an informal dining or social zone and is large enough for up to eight people. In owner-operator configurations, this area can even be adapted with a high-low table for sleeping on long passages. The bridge setup is clean and commercial, with Furuno TZT displays, Poseidon ship monitoring, and redundant communications. Every key system - from bilge alarms to battery status - is displayed in analog and digital form.

Just off the pilot house is a well-placed dayhead with excellent ventilation and visibility, offering convenience for guests coming from either deck or bridge.

Owner's Cabin

The full-beam master suite sits forward and features a king-sized bed, integrated lighting, and a large settee beneath the port window. Shelving for art or books is built in, and the entire space is finished in the same light oak and matte black trim used throughout the yacht.

A pop-up television, underbed storage, and a private fridge and vanity station enhance long-stay comfort. There’s also a stacked washer-dryer in the walk-in wardrobe, which includes hanging lockers, drawers, and mirrored shelving. The master has been deliberately designed to give a level of comfort rarely seen on sub-24m yachts.

The ensuite includes a wide basin, generous counter space, a large shower with a window, and dedicated hamper storage. (All master and guest heads feature heated floors.)

Guest Accommodation

Two symmetrical guest staterooms sit amidships, each with a king-size bed, extensive underbed storage (large enough for multiple suitcases), and en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and high-end fixtures. The cabinetry and finish match the master, and both rooms include blackout blinds, ample drawer space, and additional overhead storage.

Escape hatches are integrated subtly under deck furniture, and both guest suites feel closer to master cabins in size and finish. Every bed lifts on gas struts to reveal deep storage beneath.

Crew Accommodation

The crew quarters are located forward and are impressively generous. The space includes two separate cabins - one with bunks, one with a double - a shared head with a full walk-in shower, and a proper crew mess with microwave, galley workspace, and a full-size washer-dryer. Dedicated cold storage is built into the provisioning area below, accessible via a hatch that bypasses the main salon for discreet resupply.

The area also includes deep bilge-level dry storage, shelving, and additional top-loading freezers. It’s a space that supports four crew comfortably, supporting extended self-sufficient cruising or commercial operation.

Performance

Engineered for long-distance autonomy and low maintenance, the Bering 77 is built on a steel hull and powered by twin Cummins 6-cylinder 350hp continuous-duty diesels. She cruises at 8 knots consuming just 28 liters per hour combined. Her hull form, fuel distribution and underwater engine placement all contribute to impressive stability and low motion acceleration, making her extremely comfortable even without stabilizers in moderate conditions.

With a fuel capacity of 27,000 liters and a cruising range of 6,000 nautical miles, the yacht is transatlantic capable. A day tank is used for fuel management, and all plumbing is in rigid stainless steel. Shaft thrust is absorbed by a C-Torque system that keeps the gearbox isolated, while the shaft itself runs in an oil bath for smooth, vibration-free operation. The engine beds, like the interiors, are mounted on vibration-dampening suspensions.

A commercial-grade Poseidon monitoring system oversees temperature, gearbox load, and shaft data, among other vital indicators. Generators and inverters manage hotel loads and are programmed to operate quietly, with lithium battery banks supporting silent nights at anchor. Fire suppression and exhaust systems are similarly commercial in nature, and access is via watertight doors with generous headroom throughout the space.

In Summary

Though technically under 24 meters, the Bering 77 is built with the hardware, safety systems, and autonomy expected of yachts twice her size. Designed with a commercial mindset and honed for private use, she marries heavy-duty steel construction with warm, stylish interiors and expansive exterior space. Owners who wish to run a private expedition, plan long-term liveaboard cruising or operate commercially under charter class, the Bering 77 has the scope.
