Arcadia A96/03 is a 29.34m motor yacht due to be delivered by Italian shipyard Arcadia in 2025. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Arcadia, while Lobanov Design is responsible for her interior design.

Key Features

  • Solar glass ceiling
  • Full-beam owner’s suite
  • Drop-down side balconies
  • 1,400 nautical mile range

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.87m beam and a 1.77m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 214 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the third yacht built on the A96 design.

Exterior Design

At the stern, a transformer platform lifts and lowers, giving easy access either onto a quay or directly into the water. It can also cantilever and lift a tender aboard. Although tender storage is available elsewhere, this versatile platform adds an extra layer of convenience.

The yacht spans nearly 8m (26.2ft) across even without the drop-down balconies extended. These balconies, fitted on either side, can further increase the yacht’s already impressive beam. The A96 embraces an open and casual style, avoiding formality and encouraging relaxation.

On the upper deck, freestanding furniture allows the space to be configured as desired, reinforcing the relaxed, personalised feel. A bimini shades the seating area, while radar equipment, navigation lights, and antennas are positioned on the mast above.

At the bow, the yacht carries a crane and dedicated storage for tenders and jet skis. Chocks are fitted into the deck for secure stowage. The forward-most section features anchor handling gear and bollards, staying true to the yacht’s practical side.

Interior Design

Inside, the A96 continues its theme of openness. Sliding doors allow the main deck saloon to be fully enclosed when needed but when left open to connect seamlessly with the sea. The interior spaces use muted colours, tactile materials, and organic shapes to foster a sense of calm. Flooring throughout is designed to be inviting and warm underfoot.

A discreet yet fully equipped galley is positioned near the crew area, fitted with ample refrigeration, cooking facilities, storage, and direct access to the side decks for efficient crew movement.

The helm is situated on the upper deck, featuring a large signature Arcadia wheel and the latest navigation equipment. This yacht runs on a four-engine Volvo Penta IPS system, surprising for a vessel of this size. A separate pantry is positioned near the bridge, again with dedicated cold storage.

The sky lounge aft of the helm is another standout feature. Large and casual, it’s ideal for gatherings or movie nights, framed by those distinctive solar-panel ceilings. The atmosphere remains informal, perfect for unwinding rather than impressing.

Lighting throughout the yacht is carefully considered - subdued and often tucked away behind frames or recesses to create a warm, unobtrusive glow.

Accommodation

The Arcadia A96 offers accommodation for 10 guests across 5 cabins, with additional space for up to 5 crew members in 3 dedicated cabins.

The main deck houses the owner’s cabin. Expansive and serene, it makes full use of the yacht’s wide beam. Large windows flood the space with natural light and offer dramatic views. A sizeable desk doubles as a work or makeup area, while an impressively large walk-in wardrobe ensures storage is never an issue. The en suite bathroom is clad in real stone, enhancing the tactile, nature-inspired theme. A rainfall shower and an organically shaped mirror add subtle, stylish touches. Lighting remains discreet and soothing.

On the lower deck, four additional guest cabins continue the relaxed atmosphere. Two of these are standard guest cabins, each with dark ceilings, large hull windows, rainfall showers, and stone sinks. The other two are larger VIP cabins, featuring the same design elements but with extra space, more storage options including wardrobes and drawers, and generous ensuite bathrooms.

Crew areas are tucked away behind private access routes - a rare find on yachts under 30.5m (100ft). There are two bunked crew cabins, each with an ensuite bathroom and separate shower, and a captain’s cabin with its own ensuite. The crew dinette and rest area are compact but comfortable, alongside a laundry area and additional storage spaces. The crew also benefit from special passageways and staircases, ensuring operational efficiency and confidentiality.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by 4 x diesel Volvo Penta (IPS 1350) 1,350hp engines, motor yacht Arcadia A96/03 is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 19 knots. With her 12,700 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
