CDP Custom 40 is a 131'3" motor yacht due to be delivered by Cantieri di Pisa in 2027.

Key Features

  • Side-launch tender and toys
  • Twin salons on two decks
  • Beach club at water level
  • Private owner’s deck terrace

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium & composite superstructure she features a 26'9" beam and a 6'7" draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

CDP Custom 40's silhouette draws on established Cantieri di Pisa style cues, including a black hull band, distinct air intake grilles in black and white, and railings that double as subtle design accents.

She stretches across four decks, each with spacious outdoor areas designed for comfort and flexibility. Fore and aft, loose furnishings such as sunbeds, sofas and loungers are arranged to create relaxed, sociable zones. A Jacuzzi is positioned aft on the main deck, while two fold-out terraces expand the usable outdoor space even further. A beach club at water level adds a direct connection to the sea, enhancing her appeal for warm-weather cruising.

Midships, a full-beam garage includes a side-launching system capable of handling a tender up to 6.6 meters (21.7 feet), along with stowage for a jet ski and additional water toys. These features support active days on the water and extended voyages alike.

Interior Design

Two salons, located on the Main and Bridge Decks, provide flexible shared spaces with large windows, modular furnishings, and a relaxed ambiance that suits both private and charter use.

The galley is professionally specified and supported by pantries on each deck, fridge and freezer areas, and a high-capacity laundry. Ample storage across all levels ensures easy provisioning for extended cruising.

Throughout the yacht, entertainment systems are integrated to modern standards, and sustainability is supported by a hybrid propulsion setup. This includes battery packs and generators that can power the hotel load in quiet mode at anchor, particularly useful in marine reserves or low-impact environments.

A dedicated massage room on the Upper Deck adds another layer of luxury and can be repurposed as an additional single cabin when needed.

Accommodation

The CDP Custom 40 sleeps up to 12 guests across six cabins. The owner’s suite sits forward on the Main Deck and includes a private terrace - a rare feature in this size category. On the Lower Deck, guests are welcomed into four additional cabins along with a full-beam VIP suite, each with its own en suite bathroom.

Crew accommodation is equally well-considered. There are four cabins on the Lower Deck, with additional quarters for the captain and first officer located next to the wheelhouse on the Bridge Deck. A sixth cabin, typically used as a massage room, provides flexibility for either crew or guests, depending on the voyage.

The yacht supports up to 12 guests and a crew of 9, with layout and access designed to balance privacy and service across both private and charter operations.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12) 1,550hp engines, motor yacht CDP Custom 40 is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots. She has a maximum range of 2,000 nautical miles.
