Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.4m beam and a 2.9m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 180 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Destiny is a 42.2m (139ft) Miss Tor Yacht built in 2018, with a steel hull, 7.4m (24ft) beam and 2.9m (10ft) draft. Her profile is traditional in structure, with a long foredeck, raised pilothouse and tri-deck arrangement, while the open decks are far more leisure-led than the exterior first suggests.
The aft deck is broad and teak-laid, with built-in seating and a large dining table set close to the stern. Wide side decks lead forward, while the upper levels add multiple sun and lounge zones. The flybridge carries a jacuzzi, large sunpads and open seating, so it works as the main outdoor guest space during charter.
From above, Destiny has a generous beach-style stern area with a large swim platform and steps down to the water. Aft deck space remains open enough for service, lounging and tender use, while the 5m (16.4ft) tender with 115hp outboard supports runs ashore.
Interior Design
Destiny’s interior is the story here. It has a very individual, almost themed style, with high-gloss turquoise panels, mirrored surfaces, sculptural ceiling details and strong underwater colour cues running through cabins and guest spaces.
The main saloon mixes cream seating, polished timber flooring and turquoise glass ceiling panels that look like lit water features. Large side windows and sliding doors bring in plenty of light, while the seating layout is symmetrical and formal, with armchairs facing a central TV and cabinetry forward.
The staircase and lower lobby continue the aquatic theme, with curved turquoise glass steps, stainless rail details and mirrored panels. One guest area includes a large aquarium-style wall feature with tropical fish imagery, small timber table and chairs, and a built-in lounge beside the stair. It is unusual, memorable and very far from the standard beige charter yacht template.
The owner’s cabin is even more distinctive, with deep turquoise soft furnishings, glossy teal wall panels, mirrored geometric sections behind the bed and layered ceiling lighting. Curved shapes run through the furniture and ceiling, while the colour palette gives the cabin a strong underwater feel. Other cabins use warmer gloss timber, cream panels, mirrored ceiling inserts and gold-toned bedding, so the yacht shifts between marine-themed drama and more classic high-gloss yacht styling.
Accommodation
Destiny offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 4 double cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (c32) 1,950hp engines, motor yacht Destiny is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots. With her 32,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,000 nautical miles at 16 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht and an inviting spread of sunpads.
