Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.09m beam and a 2.85m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 343 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the thirteenth yacht built on the 131 Yacht design. She was completed at Sunseeker's Shipyard, Poole yard in United Kingdom where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in June 2019.
Accommodation
Nexus offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. Additionally, there is accommodation for up to 8 members of the owners staff and security team. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M93) 12-cylinder 3,460hp engines, motor yacht Nexus is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 28,600 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,116 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
